If you're looking for a party hostal, not for a good rest, then maybe this is the hostal for you. But if you need a hostal to sleep, especially after inca or salkantay trek, then I don't recommend to stay there. It reminds me more of a club at night, really really noisy and loud music. The room is quite... More

The Point was my first hostel stay, and it was a memorable one. I loved the friendly staff, and the fun and eclectic decoration of the place. The accomodations were adequate, I slept for hours and hours in my bed and it was a good home base with which to acclimate to Cusco. The location was great. This is a... More

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us and were able to get some rest and acclimatize! It is common for lavandarias in Peru to perfume the laundry so apologies for the smell but at least you know our sheets are clean :) More

A rather hilarious predicament had me scrambling to find a hostel at the last minute when I was unable to contact my Airbnb host. Luckily, someone recommended The Point. The 6-bedroom dorm was clean and quiet (I had the Jagermeister, towards the end of the courtyard), and the bathroom looked recently remodeled, hot shower functioned well. I checked in for... More

I have been to many place and many countries. And normally I don't complain about too much.. but my experience in "The point" in Cusco, Peru. Has been the worst I have ever seen. To start when you arrive there is no tour of the facilities. The second thing you will notice is how there is 10 bunk beds to... More

We're sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. I've passed your comments regarding cleaning and wifi on to the local manager. We do charge for additional things such as towels and water in our hostels in order to keep the price of beds as low as possible for our guests. Once again I'd like to apologize and... More

This hostel offers comfortable clean rooms, bathrooms with reliable hot water which are cleaned regularly, cold drinks and EXCELLENT food! All for very reasonable prices. With friendly staff and guests, you are bound to make a friend or two. The music is good and the bar stays lively late into the night. All around a great vibe, Diego was especially... More

If you wanna try some good accommodation, cheap (and cold) beer, excelent parties and really good vibe, certanly this is the right place to go! It's near from Plaza de Armas, what is quite importante, others clubs and travel agencies. I can't wait to be there again!

The staff is really nice and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and there a bar with pool table and a restaurant. Stayed there for almost 3 weeks and had a very nice time. The prices are a little bit expensive for cusco, 25 soles for the cheapest room - dorms of 12.

I stayed here on a Monday night and the music was blasting until at least 3 in the morning. The rooms were cold and the staff wasn't super friendly. I found a much better hostel for the same price. I thought I wouldn't mind the noise but a girls gotta sleep. Earplugs barely helped.

Due to high ceilings and a big open area everything echoes. Shower water is hot but the area is almost outside and therefore really cold same as the room. Breakfast is included (bread, butter, jam, coffee and tea) and the bread is good! Food is good and you can get tea all day.

This was a nice hostel with very nice staff, but it is not a good hostel for long-term travelers on a budget. Although it is cheap, the fact that guests cannot use the kitchen AT ALL means that you are going to spend between s/.20-40 per day on restaurant food, depending on whether you make it to the free breakfast....
