We stayed here before and after our trek to Machu Picchu. It was well located, close to the main square and local restaurants, and had plenty of space for a family. The rooms were very basic and pretty cold and while the place had lots of character, 'rustic' would be an apt description of this accommodation. The staff were very... More

Cosy and comfortable, our little apartment (we would call it a housekeeping unit) at the Renacimiento suited my husband and me very well. Ignacio, who is fully bilingual, and his staff were great--always helpful--and our apartment was kept very clean. Mid-way through our 9 day visit to Cusco we went to Macchu Pichu overnight. Coming back to the Renacimiento felt like... More

My daughter, granddaughter and I spent 4 nights here and were well taken care of in a charming old Peruvian house with inner courtyard. Because the spacious front upstairs apt is subject to traffic noise at night, we were easily switched to a quiet large side bedroom with 3 beds and kitchenette, modern new bathroom with shower and plenty of... He treated us so well. Rooms are nice, if a little cold at night. Tasty breakfast in the room. Little mini-kitchen, tiny TV. Some rooms would be perfect for a family. Danke the dog is a cutie. Very well located near the market. Relaxing courtyard to hang out in.

In sum: beautiful courtyard, unique rooms with small kitchen and hot water shower, very clean, great location near the center of town on a quiet street, and a friendly dog named Danka to greet you at the door each time you arrive. My partner and I stayed in three different rooms in the hotel, and oddly they are priced the... More

This apartment was a nice place to stay for a month. It was very clean, and i felt safe in the location and with the locks provided. Our apartment was 5 beds, 2 bathrooms, with a large common room with little kitchenette and refrigerator. There was enough hot water for 2 people to take 5 min showers, then you had... More

We stayed with Ignacio and crew for 5 nights before and after walking the inca trail. Pros- Location: near San Pedro plaza, easy walking to plaza de armas, plaza San blas, Orion supermarket 2 blocks away. Cleanliness: Great. Rooms- Perfect. We valued the facilities to prepare our own food and make tea/coffee at any time. The whole place is decorated... More

We found our room very practical and clean. The beds were a bit saggy but comfortable. We rented a 2 room apartment for 3 people. The sleeping arrangements for the 2nd room were upstairs in a loft. The stairwell was a little steep but useable, just be carefull! Breakfast was minimal but good. It consisted of bread, jam, good orange... More

We are staying here for one month and are so happy. Renacimiento is comfortable with all the comforts of home...a small kitchen and comfortable beds. We are upstairs, which I think is better because the sun comes in and warms the house all day and it stays reasonably warm at night (though we are using several warm wool blankets). There... More

200 year old colonial house converted to a small hotel. Great location fairly close to the main square. Much more fun that staying in a typical hotel or motel. I rented the two bedroom apartment for four nights for myself and my daughter. It was like living in a typical Cusco house. However be forewarned that, like most of the... More
