We stayed at the Prisma as part of our Inca trail tour with G Adventures. Nothing much to report apart from the hotel is situated in a prime position (5 mins away from the town square) however don't expect to get much sleep as the windows and walls are paper thin and you can hear everything.. The staff however are... More

If you are trying to compare hotels, it is easy to forget that you must compare apples to apples. Prisma is a good choice for the budget traveler. The rooms were simple, but clean. The food was much the same; simple but clean. I don't want surprises when I am traveling on a budget unless they are pleasant ones. This... More

I was happily surprised. From previous reviews was expecting a noisy, dingy, hostel-type atmosphere. Instead, I found a clean, well-maintained facility, with good service and, in back, a nice atrium and plenty of room to sit down and stretch out Like most guests having done a trek with G Adventures, which has a service desk there, I stayed on the... We stayed here with G Adventures and was a bit apprehensive given the reviews but actually, the hotel was fine! Most of the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. You can store luggage securely and any valuables in the reception safe. Good security with a doorman at all times too. The room is basic but clean. The windows are rubbish... More

We stayed here as part of our G Adventure Inca Trail Tour, pre and post hike. The pre-hike visit we were placed in a room with a window opening directly out to the elevator. Besides listening to the elevator all night, we could hear all of the noise from the common areas of the hotel. On the post-hike stay, a... More

We stayed here as part of g-adventures inca trail/city stay.In all I stayed 8 days in a 10 day period.Despite booking several months in advance and requesting a double bed, we spent our first 3 nights in a room with 2 singles. My husband went on the inca trail but before he went we requested a double bed for his... More

We stayed here for one night before and one night after our trip to the Inca Trail with G Adventures. I had pretty low expectations coming here, as the G Adventures website warns of rolling blackouts and no hot water, which was not the case at all. We arrived areound 9 am to check in and luckily our room was... More

Not sure where to start . . . the constant honking of horns outside this hotel by taxis at all hours of the night, the weekend screaming from locals in the alley next door (bars), or the inadequate staffing to handle property issues like broken pipes. I hope G Adventures looks to change their joining hotel for trips on the... More

The staff were not very helpfull, the rooms was ok, nothing more. Is was unbealiveble noisy. The showers was good, hot water (have to wait a little but no problem there). The restaurant server good food and breakfast. Good location. But all in all I was not happy, except for the food and shower.

This hotel was booked through G Adventures tour company which clearly hold no weight with hotels because everywhere we went we got the worst rooms in the hotel. First they gave us a room that smelled like sewage (room 322). When we complained they brought someone in with a bottle of Febreeze (seriously). We gave it one night and when... More
