This is a very nice hotel that is actually a historical building. It's got a lot of character. There's a shuttle from the airport directly to the hotel. Very convenient. The room was comfortable and clean. The walls are a bit thin and the vent window in the bathroom opened directly opposite another room's bathroom vent. Couldn't see anything, but... More

This is a good base to enjoy Arequipa, it is very near to all sights and some good restaurants. The common areas are ok based aroud a courtyard. However, the bedrooms look dated and could do with a refurbishment. We arrived after a 30 hour journey to be allocated room 401, on hindsight we should have just said "what else... More

A short walk to the main square and right next to Santa Catalina Monastery/Convent, location could not be better, away from any noise but central. The hotel is an exciting mix of old (1794) and new, old courtyards and cloisters but modern bedrooms and facilities. Was the Mint for 6 years and is known as The Mint House. Breakfast is... More

Firstly, the location is great - right next to the Santa Catalina monastery (a must-see), and just 3 blocks or so from the main square. Despite its proximity to the centre, the rooms were pleasantly quiet. The building that houses the reception and restaurant is genuinely stunning. We had a slight issue with our room being too cold (and the... More

We were here for three nights on our way to Colca - the hotel is very well appointed. We were in a king size room (205), our kids shared a room with two doubles, both with large bathrooms. Lobby is beautiful, and the breakfast is served in a very pretty courtyard. It's right across the street from the Santa Catalina... More

Fantastic hotel in historic city centre. Quiet rooms when you get one away from street. Ask for room in historic building. Great breakfast in courtyard. Restaurant is part of historic building complex. Very large portions. Excellent restaurants nearby. Great view of snowcapped volcanoes from rooftop.

It is built in an old mansion and is beautiful. It was a good, small chain. The rooms were nice and quiet, comfortable beds and bath tubs in room. Stored our luggage. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was just ok.

We arrive at Arequipa in the midnight, after an exhausting 9 hours’ bus journey from Nazca to Arequipa, although we sit at the VIP seat and no anyone else in our cabin. Our pickup van stop at a quiet and dark street, before a large mansion with dim light illuminated a hardly visible sign of hotel. The driver knocks the... More

Typical high standard of Casa Andina Hotels. Rooms are good size with great beds and breakfast is abundant and diverse. Well priced and staff bend over backwards to help with anything. Central location to all attractions.

We stayed in this hotel two nights with 3 persons in triple room (303). Spacious room, all comfort available . Good service, nice breakfast, rustic and quiet place yet close to all points of interest.
