Set in a restored bank/treasury building, the Casa Andina was the perfect place to stay in Arequipa. Room was modern and comfortable and equipped with DirectTV so I didn't miss the Giants playoff victory, and the public areas are clean and airy. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Frank at the front desk was especially helpful. My wife travels to... More

Stayed 2 nights in Jan 2012. The hotel is located in a quiet street just a 2 minute walk to the Santa Catalina convent and 5 minutes to the Plaza de Armas. The public rooms are beautiful, a series of courtyards, covered and open with many period fixtures and fittings. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is served... More

I’ve seem comparisons between the Casa Andina Private Collection and The Monasterio in Cusco. But there is no comparison; this is not at the same level. That said, it’s a really good hotel. The public areas making use of the walls and ceilings of the old mint are a pleasure—the lobby, the bar, and the open breakfast area. Most of... More

This is one of five hotels that we stayed in during our family trip to Peru. It was a very clean and comfortable. My husband and I stayed in the older part while my children stayed in the newer part (I wish we could have had a connecting room but they were just around the corner). We stayed only one... More

We stayed at the Casa Andina Private Collection for three days in December 2011. The hotel is in a perfect location within easy walking distance to main attractions, historic sights and good restaurants. The breakfasts were a full buffet with omelet station, good food and fresh fruits with friendly service. Nice place to stay. The rooms were clean with easy... More

TA HOTEL REVIEW # 196 MY TRAVEL STYLE: If possible, I try to stay away from business hotels and strongly prefer resorts that resemble the Four Seasons, Aman, and Oberoi but try to find similar properties at lower cost. I seek out the “wow” experiences. LOCATION: Great location on a quiet street with very few cars and a few short... More

Three nights here were a mixed bag. The welcome was warm and pleasant with coca tea in the lobby. The room was large but not particularly well lit for those who like to read in bed and with the high altitude we found that we wanted to do a bit more reading than we had originally planned. The breakfasts were... More

We stayed at the Casa Andina Private Collection for several days this past November. From the moment we arrived, we were enthusiastically welcomed. We stayed here for one night while visiting Arequipa. The rooms were clean and the public rooms of the hotel were very good. We liked the location of the hotel as it was an easy walk to good restaurants and the historic sights. The breakfast was good but the staff were not as friendly as other Andina hotels we have...
