What an amazing host Ana is. We had a fantastic stay! we had an early morning airport pick up which meant we arrived way before our check in time. but Ana rushed through our check in and showed us to our beautiful room, then followed with some tea. She couldn't do enough to help during our stay at this beautiful... More

We had a great stay at Casa de Ana, and Ana was absolutely lovely - very friendly and full of recommendations. Breakfast every morning included fresh juice, fruit, bread, jam and butter, and a small cheese empanada and/or eggs. We booked a good-value Colca Canyon trek (3D/2N) through her for US$60/each, which I really recommend - the accommodation and food... More

My Mum and I stayed here for a month while we were learning Spanish at CEICA Peru (Absolutely excellent Spanish school - I cannot recommend highly enough!). La Casa de Ana was just perfect for our needs. We could use the kitchen if we wanted, it had a great terrace to relax or study on whilst looking at Misti. Breakfast... More

We stayed two nights at La Casa de Ana and enjoyed our stay very much. Ana (the owner) was very pleasant, friendly and we felt very welcomed. Her cat was also very friendly whom we enjoyed playing with a lot on the rooftop. It is located in a very nice neighbourhood. The hotel has total of 4 or 5 rooms... More

I can't think of anything to improve at Casa de Ana. We had the double room at the top of the house - The bed was super comfy and the shower hot and powerful. The room opened out onto the terrace, where we ate our breakfast looking out at El Misti. Breakfast was delicious (fruit, juices, coffee/tea, eggs and bread)... More

Great hostel: - Really good breakfast - Rooms are clean, big, comfortable and quiet - Nice neigbourhood: super safe and really easy and safe walk to town (or a taxi is about 1 pound, no drama!) - Ana is awesome. She is so nice, speaks great English and helps you out with anything you need to know - Good wifi... More

PLUSES: The owner is EXTREMELY nice person! We arrived to Arequipa very late at night and were a bit afraid if someone would open. But we were welcomed with a big smile :) Another day, after early check out (trip to Colca canyon) we came back to our left luggage, and had a few hours until the bus arrives. We... More

We stayed at La Casa de Ana for 4 nights during our time in Arequipa. The hotel is small and very relaxed with a truly wonderful host! Ana is friendly, charming, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Ably assisted by her lovely staff and feline helper (Caramella) we were made to feel entirely at home. We had help with... More

This place is absolutely perfect. Clean, very helpful staff, great location and brilliant breakfast with a view. This was exactly what we needed after a 12 hour night bus from Cusco. We were able to check in early, have a great shower and a good nap. Really nice fresh juice in the morning and Ana is so friendly. Great recommendation... More

We can't recommend this place enough. It is out of the touristy zone of Arequipa, in a safe, quiet neighborhood, 15 - 20 minute walk from downtown. There are only four rooms and it feels like being home, good breakfast, upstairs patio to dine on while overlooking the volcanos, personal attention from staff, EXCELLENT local food nearby and the owner...
