I am from Spain, from Lanzerote, my wife found by internet this hotel because of its name, NUEVA ESPANA, in Arequipa Peru, but it was just a terrible experience, they are racister, i mean the owners (a family somehow), we saw how they treat the people who works with them, just as slaves because they are indians, I have to... more

We stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with our accomodation. Reading through the previous reviewers I have to nodd in agreement with everything. Yes it is a 5-10 minute walk from the centre but if like us you get up early and go to bed early its not an issue arriving late back in the evening -... more

We stayed here for 5 nights, the rooms are very spacious & clean. There is a lovely terrace which is really peaceful & gets great sun. The rooms on the street side can be very noisy with dogs & street traffic. It is 10 mins from city centre, so you have to get a taxi home after 9 but only... more

This hotel was quite nice, set in a beautiful old colonial building. Rooms simple, nothing fancy, but fine. Fantastic hot water from their solar-heated water tank. Great breakfast each morning on the patio. Staff very helpful and friendly, it's family-owned, and the family lives on site, so a very nice feel to the place. The older gentleman is quite nice... more

What a fantastic hotel. The staff was amazing. They picked us up at 4am from the bus stations and made sure that our stay was comfortable, safe and memorable. The staff really went out of their way to make us feel at home and it worked. The hotel is a short walk from town. It was nice to be able... more

This hostel is a few minutes from the center. You have to cross the river, so it's quieter than the area around the main plaza. I was picked up from the airport, had a nice big room with private bathroom, balcony, and cable. Breakfast is included, and is served on the terrace facing the interior courtyard. The staff gave me... more

We stayed there for 4 nights and felt like at home. The room we had was very quiet, clean and had 24 hour hot water. The owner, his family and staff are very friendly and hospitable. We highly recommand it.. Breakfast on the patio was a real pleasure. more

This is not a luxury hotel but they do an excellent job in the mid-range category. Very attentive service, clean rooms and bathrooms, strong hot water, and a nice courtyard. The owner is extremely chatty but I suppose better than being absent. more

I thought I was going to save some money, that is why I chose this hotel, but the service was really bad. Well, they told me that what I was looking for for the price I paid, so I left next day, bad service more

This place was a great choice. From the very beginning, we were treated very well (they came to pick us up from the bus station at 2am for free!). The rooms were clean and comfortable, with clean new bathrooms and 24hr hot water--and one of my favorite parts was that the sink has a hot water tap on it, too!!!... more
