The rooms are all around a square courtyard garden, which is really nice and relaxing. I would imagine it could be a cool hangout place for larger groups. There are chairs where you can relax, and wi-fi was pretty fast too. There's also a pet turtle that comes out at breakfast, which was fun to take pictures of. The breakfast... More

The hotel is centrally located with 10min walking to the main streets. We stayed for three nights in a comfortable room with a huge and warm bed. Breakfast was typically Peru, with great add ons esp. the pancakes are very delicious and fresh made for you. Coffee & tea is available for free all day long. Also the Spanish teachers... More

Room: 4/5 bed was good even though a bit small, got an issue with warm water that got fixed after breakfast. Still not a lot of pressure and not very hot. Nice inner court. Gets a bit cold at night, if you want you can rent a heater for 5$ a night Personnel: 5/5 really friendly and helpful Breakfast: 2/5... More

My girlfriend and I spent two nights at Casa de Avila and it was the standout hotel of our trip to Peru. The hotel wasn't fully booked when we checked in and we were kindly offered a room upgrade free of charge. Our room was clean, comfortable and the bed in our upgraded room was absolutely huge! The hotel is close... More

Because of it's location we were often out late at night which meant we had Alex up late, (or early when we had to leave at 3am). We were always greeted wit a smile and "it's no trouble at all", as with other requests we made. The outdoor grassed courtyard was great for breakfast - an amazing array of fruit... More

Natalia helped us make sure we knew where to visit. Really enjoyed the monastery and Juanita museum... both in close walking distance through historic area. Nattie marked the route for us on an extra map she keeps for guests at the front desk. When we came back, we sat in the garden and watched Raoul work magic with fresh veggies... More

Casa de Avila is a great place to study Spanish in their beautiful garden with their famous turtle that wonders around. I stayed here for one night and then they set up a home stay for two weeks so I could get extra practice while taking lessons at Casa de Avila. Over all this was a great experience. The home...
