Classy hotel set in beautiful gardens on the edge of the Colca river. Perfect for unwinding and using as a base to explore the Colca Canyon. Rooms were lodge style so quite spacious, but the beds were a bit soft. The setting is quite rustic so beware the rough and quite steep stone steps in the garden areas. Food was... More

Good points: Amazing location. Great views. Marvellous gardens well tended. Wonderful thermal baths to soothe aching limbs. Spa (though we did not take advantage). Comfortable room, huge bed. Good restaurant (just as well, as you can't just nip out to another one) Lovely staff. Someone had tipped them off that it was my wife's birthday, and they had decorated the... More

We loved Colca! The lodge was very nice. The food was excellent. We ate here all three nights. Hot springs were great especially after a long trek one day. Our rooms were a nice size. Wifi only in the lobby area.

Colca Lodge was an oasis after a long drive to see the canyon. The place is not flashy. But has a wonderful style and elegance. We had a family suite that was perfect for our foursome, with the kids thrilled to be on a mezzanine level and plenty of room. The grounds are divine with the rooms well spread and... More

There was absolutely nothing to fault during our stay at the Colca Lodge. We had a well-furnished suite set in the pretty gardens overlooking the Colca River and mountains. There is a pleasant walk through the well-kept gardens to the hot springs where one is free to relax after a long day. The restaurant too had great views over the... More

Lovely setting and we enjoyed the hot baths. Rooms very big and cavernous, but poorly furnished: no storage apart from an open hanging rail and not even a couple of chairs to sit on! Walls were very thin so could hear sounds from neighbours, even though they were not noisy. Our luggage was left out in the sun and not... More

We spent 3 nights here and loved it. The setting is spectacular, the rooms are basic but comfortable, and the service is impeccable. The llama farm was very interesting, and the hot springs were an added bonus. We walked up to the Uyo Uyo pre Inca site, and on to Yanque, which was a lovely walk. And of course it... More

We stayed at this hotel just one night during out trip to the Colca Canyon. We arrived late after a long drive and left early the following morning. Only wished we had stayed longer as this was a beautiful setting to explore the area from. The river and spa add a special quality to the experience.

Everything about this was top rank - excellent service, really good restaurant, comfortable rooms and great facilities. Very informative alpaca, camelid display - I enjoyed the live display but the technical information was excellent. I didn't use the hot baths but saw many who did. Very quiet and restful experience

We stayed one night here in October 2010 on our way to see Colca Canyon. The hotel sits in a little valley on the river bank and the setting was very calming. The hot springs are a wonderful treat and the accomodations were fantastic (rustic style cabins, with plenty of room and amenities). We even ventured out on a little... More
