While walking around Larcomar in Miraflores, we saw an add on a travel agency window for a trip to Arequipa for 3 days, and 2 nights; which included the hotel, transportation, and couple of guided tours. So we took it, the price was right. Upon our arrival to Arequipa, we were taken to Hotel Cerregidor, they gave us a room... More

Situated on the outskirts of town but only a pleasant 12-15 min. walk to the Plaze de Armes. Or take one of the many (small) taxis around, only 5-6 Soles. Rooms are basic (2 star +) but everything you need is there and clean. Some bathrooms are pretty small so ask at reservation for a room with a normal size... More

I just cannot imagine how this hotel remains in business. Or even how it was designed. I can only assume the architect had earplugs and eye shades. The hotel is in a tucked away part of town, it is incredibly noisy (tiled floors, loud music played by staff in the wee small hours of the morning), badly designed (many of... More

Dear Guest. Thank you for taking some time to share with us your comments about Corregidor Hotel. We consider that any kind of assessment that our customers do, is an opportunity to improve our services. Certainly we recognize the limitations of our hotel facilities. Regarding the rooms, our staff didn´t inform you that we also have exterior rooms and unfortunately... More

Nice lobby and great location. The staff was exceedingly nice. Those are the only good things I can say. There is no elevator. The rooms were brighter (lighting) though than in Cusco and that's not saying much. The bathrooms are NOT much larger than in a cruise ship. If you are over 5' tall, you will have to spread your... The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are nice as well, they are of decent size, bed is nice as well, pillows could be better, bathrooms are of decent size and everything was clean. Breakfast is ok, could be a little better if they offered a little more variety. Eggs were great! The service is good, the hotel isnt expensive.... More

Stayed here with a small group. Was disappointed with my single room - very small, and located next to some sort of utility room, which was quite noisy with staff going in and out. Appreciated the free internet. Location not very central, but Arequipa is easy to walk around in, so restaurants and museums are all accessible.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a GAP tour This hotel had a good location. The rooms were basic but clean, pleasant and not too old. Though the doors didn't lock very well. It seems they tried to make the foyer area classy but it looks a little old fashioned. The brekfast was a little bit more varied... More

This hotel is on the outskirts of the central part of town and there are lots of options closer to the Plaza de Armas, so look around. The staff here is friendly and helpful, which helps make up for the standard of the rooms, which is pretty basic and the bathrooms are really tiny. Free internet, no in room safe,... More
