We visited Arequipa and stayed here for 2 nights. The location is great, just outside of the centre in a beautiful colonial house. The rooms are clean and rather big. The breakfast is a buffet with a lot of choice and is rather tasty. At the reception they speak enough English to answer all your questions. There is a pool,... More

I got to spend quite a long time in this hotel (nearly a month) and I have to say, it was a great experience. The hotel staff was always friendly, and the location of the hotel make it one of the better choices: it's not in the center of town, but its close enough so that you can walk and... More

Having spent 15/16 days travelling around Peru this wa the last hotel we visited, such a shame as ones lasting impression of a country will naturally be that of your final stay. Our room was fairly large, with 2 king size beds, a small table and chairs, ample storage space, and a small dresser. The bathroom however was very different.... More

Only spent one night here. It had a really nice exterior in typical spanish architecture and a cute pool. The complimentary breakfast was very good but very typical of complimentary breakfasts in the area. The rooms were okay but there was nothing spectacular about them- especially for the price. We spent the previous week in another hotel that was comparable... More

While I can't say I was overwhelmed by Arequipa itself - it has its attractions - the hotel was a nice place to come back to after a day of sightseeing, conveniently situated just over the bridge from town center. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fine (though there does seem to be a Peruvian bias against... More

I have to agree with some of the previous comments here. On the plus side the hotel is very convenient for the centre of the town a mere 5-10 minute stroll to the main square. The rooms are clean and large and have usual amenities - safe, tv, fridge, wifi etc. The staff are helpful and friendly. On the negative... More

This hotel is located near the historical centre, yet it isn't noisy at all. the rooms are really big and luxurious. A good breakfast as well. I really loved the atmosphere in the hotel, the rooms, the lounge and the garden.

Plus points; it's quite central to town (across the bridge and two blocks) but is actually quiet, which is a positive. The rooms are in different "blocks" around the hotel - which gives it a nice feel and means that you have a balcony/outside space and It has the usual - safe, mini bar, hairdryer. The bar area behind reception... More

The first appearance of the hotel isn't the best, with strange parking off a very busy road. You get out of your car or taxi and then you have to brave the very slippy marble path leading to the entrance door. The rooms are spread out, in two floor buildings, behind the reception area. The grounds are so nearly good,... More

I used to have long stays at this hotel while working for Major Peru S.A. in mining exploration in Peru and every time I used to feel like home with the environment, the friendly staff and a good restaurant downstairs. The owners, Elsa and her brother also own The Sol de Mayo Restaurant where they serve the best "cuy Chactado"... More
