We were travelling in a fairly large private group and all loved the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff. The gardens are just beautiful and great for taking in the sun, watching birds, taking a dip in the pool or just relaxing. The garden breakfast cafeteria is special and the restaurant not bad either! Our rooms were very comfortable. Good location... More

Despite our arrival at 2:00 am after a difficult journey staff were very welcoming. Lovely grounds that are well presented. Spent a relaxing afternoon enjoying the sunshine with a cold Pisco Sour. Relaxing setting for breakfast with my favourite spread of the trip. Local birds are so tame they come close to be fed.

When we read the name "Casa de mi Abuela" on our travel itinerary from Fairtravel4u, we thought it might be a big old house in the colonial city of Arequipa... But when we entered the wooden gate, we stepped from the busy street into a huge garden, with lots of green and flowers. The rooms are not very big, but... More

This hostel is well located, easy walking distance to the main square and as well as many nice restaurants. Small shops (for water, snacks etc) are on both sides of the hostel. There are lovely gardens with hammocks and sun chairs, great for relaxing if you are in Arequipa to acclimatize before going higher. Excellent breakfast including the usual cereal,... More

Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice gardens with hammocks, benches. Small pool. Peaceful environment. Large room for our family of four. Breakfast included: coffee, tea, juices, bread, fruits, cereals, scrambled eggs. 5-10 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas-- very convenient location. Our room only had one electrical outlet: the staff gave us an extension cord with 3 outlets so we... More

In the middle of Arequipa, Beautiful BIG garden and well kept swimming pool. We stayed for 8 days with 9- and 12- year old girls and fell in love with the place. Staff was really helpfull and spoke good english, breakfast was served in the garden, kids did they schoolwork under the shadows of the trees. There was also a... More

We stayed here as part of our tour with tucan. We stayed here twice during our tour. The first time they gave us a room towards the back and we were woken up by the roosters super early in the morning. I could not get any hot water and had to have a cold shower. The wifi was good, breakfast... More

We stayed here for 2 nights located in Calle Jerusalen, Arequipa. This hotel was really nice, a touch boutiquey with a modern twist. Rooms were very good with a bath, TV and wifi. Gardens and pool are lush. Its a nice place to relax especially in Sept, nice weather and very quiet. Staff really friendly and helpful. We liked this... More

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean but this was a strangely unsatisfying stay. We had two rooms for our family, about as far apart as you could get. The room for 3 seemed to have the feel of staff accommodation. We were pleased to see a pool, but on our first night it was surrounded by very... More

I stayed one night in Hotel La Casa de mi Abuela and felt at home from the moment I stepped into the beautiful garden. Loved the atmosphere, very charming, the service was very friendly, the rooms were clean (I liked the traditional details mixed with modern), loved having breakfast outside in the beautiful garden with hummingbirds and butterflies flying around....
