Stayed at Casa Andina in Arequipa three nights through a travel agent. Hotel accommodates many tourists, mostly from Europe, it seemed. the hotel is very close (easy walking distance) to almost everything including the only vegetarian restaurant we could find. the staff were extremely helpful and the rooms provided the two things i value most. A comfortable bed and a great hot shower. the staff was very helpful, especially with an altitude problem i had and the buffet breakfast is comprehensive. more

Instead "Casa Andina" is well known in Peru as a good place to stay, I wouldn´t reccomend this particular Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights, and once there, we asked the guy in the front desk if we could change one night in Arequipa for one in Colca Canyon (they also have a Hotel there). Its is a nice place when you can leave in AQP its near to the main square, everthing is clean, the persons who work are very friendly. I can recomend this hotel to other persons. more
