Very mixed experience here! It is superior to other Wild Rovers (smaller and more laid back), decent but slightly dirty pool (arent they all) and great parties. Easy to meet people, spacious rooms although could be more showers. Two of the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful. The manager however is pretty aggressive about certain things, and they had an inexplicable... More

really quite poor, from the below average communal areas to the dirty bedsheets (they don't change the duvet regularly, only the sheets, and sub par bathrooms, i don't really know what to say. the pub downstairs is ok i suppose but the rest of the hostel lacks any sort of atmosphere, the location is good but the hostel advertises itself... This hostel was great fun, really good for a night out, and with a very well stocked bar and restaurant. Hammocks on the roof were a nice touch too. The staff are very friendly, and the beds very comfy. Only slight downside is that it's touch and go whether you get hot water, but that happens in most places in... More

So.... if you want to party - probably a good choice. Dancing on the bar, shots directly into your mouth, and pretty decent music. Playing until late... (you may want to pack your earplugs... or just partake of the shots). There's also a make up room, so you can prepare properly for some partying (with hair dryer and straightener provided).... More

Wild Rover is known for being party hostels in Peru, but honestly our stay was filled with hitting the sack at 9 pm and sleeping through the night. The trick is just getting a room at the back near the pool. We had a private with shared bathroom (right next door) for 50 soles. The hostel works because it has... More

If you're not looking to party don't stay here. It's hard to sum up the staff because some were very nice and incredibly helpful and others were quite unpleasant to the guests. The beds are very nice and the location is great, but aside from that the set up is so-so. There is a different "party" in the hostel bar... More

It is clean and spacious. But it is the same as other party hotel that it is very noisy. But you will have fun in the party everynight. The breakfast is simple that only bread and butter and jam provided. Moreover, it is great that have breakfast by the swimming pool.

We slept here for 3 nights but partied here for more than a week, the Irish bar is the best one in town, all days of the week. The food in the bar is overall ok but definitley not as good as Wild Rover La Paz.

Definitely a party hostel! Great location for seeing main sights, squares and museums of Arequipa. Dorms clean but very large. Good wifi and lots of charging points. Bathrooms small but kept clean, hot water temperamental. The deal breaker for most is the bar downstairs. If you want quiet, don't come here. Various themed party nights, pool and games room, dress... More

We actually stayed in the 3 Wild rovers, and this was the worse. Our dorms was very noisy, we could hear everything from the street and the bar. We love party hostel but this one was not so great. There are only 2 hot showers. But the worse was definitely the staff ! Some of them were sympathics but others... More
