If you stay at this hotel on a Friday or Sat night with the hope of sleeping, disavow yourself of that thought immediately. There is a Discotheque right next to the hotel that does not just play loud music.. it shakes your bed until 5am. Putting on music in your headset is not going to solve the problem. The staff... This casona has been converted to a hotel .On the positive side is its excellent location, barely 2 block from the main square and other attractions. Breakfast was adequate. The staff was quite courteous and helpful. On the negative side, the hotel is not handicapped-ready, hot water came intermittently, and the check out is quite early: 9 am which was... More

Hotel was right across from some of the best sights of Arequipa. By walking three blocks one was at the city center - Plaza. Hotel was a colonial building that they converted into guest rooms. We were on the first floor so getting around was easy. 5th floor had spectacular views of the mountains and volcanoes that surround the city.... More

This is the first time my family and I have toured a "3rd World Country" and we were pleasantly surprised that being 3rd World doesn't mean you are "roughing-it" at one of their hotels. This hotel meets all of our American & Westerner needs as to accommodations. No squat toilets as in Asia or public restrooms as some European hotels.... More

This was the worst experience ever in a hotel. First, they offer me a 35m2 room with balcony (using hotel.com) but they give me a 20m2 room, dirty, with a broken WC, the second day they didn't make the room, the last day they charge me 18% of taxes saying that the Hotel.com fare is not the correct fare.

A great atmosphere in the colonial style, well located, and very comfortable. Rooms are clean and functional. WiFi not the best, and breakfast could be a bit better, nonetheless a good choice in Arequipa. I would stay here again.

I stayed in two separate rooms at this hotel; 204 and 304. (I did an overnight in Arequipa then traveled to the Colca Valley then back to Arequipa.) The hotel is in a great location. Right across the street from the Santa Catalina Monastery and within minutes of the historic area of the White City and many restaurants. The common... More

Breakfast should always be ready and warm for the passengers until the time of closing, in this case upto 10 hours. We went to have breakfast at 9:30 hours and food was always cold. However the waiter was always very willing.

The building is amazing and right across the street from the monastery. We got the "expedia" room, so it was not updated (the hotel was renovating). The dining room and lounge areas are really lovely. The breakfast left something to be desired. Much of the hot food had run out (with very few dining staff to replenish it) or it... More
