We stayed here for 4 days and we would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone who wants a basic place to stay. It was very clean, rooms are big enough for two persons, hot shower, decent breakfast( eggs, bread, hot beverage of your choice & fresh orange juice) and location is near to everything. Staff were helpful too.

We stayed at this hostal recently and of course had no great expectations given its daily rate. On the positive side it is the hostal's location (in the heart of the city); in the negative site, the rooms have no telephone so that no body can call you and vice versa. Most importantly, service was overall quite poor, like we... More

This was perhaps the 5th or 6th place we walked in looking for a reasonable accommodation in the centre of Arequipa. The receptionist was very friendly, we saw the room before deciding, got a bit of a discount and took it! Room was clean even very clean for Peruvian standards with big double bed, good size bathroom with fresh clean... More

The Hostal is in a very central position and you can walk everywhere in town center. The building is beautiful, it's a old colonial house with a internal garden. The room was clean, small and warm(Very important in the night!); the shower was very hot and we got the room everyday cleaned.. The breakfast was rich with fresh bread, fresh juices, tee or... More

We enjoyed the room in this hostal - basic but spacious and comfortable. - and the hostal has a nice, tranquil atmosphere. But there was an unpleasantness when we checked out and the chief receptionist insisted we hadn´t paid for the first night´s stay. We had, definitely (after we left, we talked about it and recalled the exact moment we... More

Hostel was near by city center and historical center, very safe place to walk even alone at night. The room was very noise cause was in the middle of courtyard. Every person whom want to enter press a ring all night long and doesn't matter where you are, it is very noise. Breakfast first day attendant forgot to bring me... More

Terrible experience that ended un in the police office. The "continental breakfast" is bread and butter and you have to pay $5 extra for eggs that were inedible. The sheets were dirty and had hairs in them. Rooms don't have a patio as stated in description and photos do not correspond to hotel. There was no water at all when... More

The place has fantastic atmosphere with lovely patio, flowers and nice furniture. The location is perfect and safe. Just a few blocks to Santa Catalina convent and Plaza de Armas. Rooms are clean, with sufficient bathrooms and hot water. Also staff is asmiled and nice. The only problem is that they are cheating on currency rates when you pay a... More
