We stayed at this hostel as a couple while backpacking Peru. I must say that the owner of the place is awesome! And it is certainly the most remarkable fact about this place :) . The hostel is located few blocks from the city center and the main attractions, it is also clean. A bit noisy the nigths we stayed... More

We found Jose the owner to be a very attentive and welcoming host. At every corner he would help us out with things we needed for our trip to Arequipa/Colca Canyon. It was nice to find a place that has a kitchen in Peru, even if it was quite small and had basic equipment, we were still able to cook.... More

The hostel is located in the historic center, walking distance to everything. It has a terrace with nice views of Misty and Arequipa. Jose, the owner, is very helpful and works hard to make you feel home and happy with the hostel. He is very friendly and would give you a discount if you book directly. The rooms are clean... More

We would like to thank José, the owner of the hostel, for a very pleasant stay in Arequipa. José gave us some great tips about the city, he recommended us a good tour operator for the colca canyon, and let us store our luggage for free when we were on our 3-day trek. The place itself is nice, the room... More

We stayed here with Peru Hop. The place was small and simple the bathroom was nice you have to ask them to turn on the hot water some times they have a gas heater so they turn it off during the night and sometimes during the day. The kitchen is decent and there is a little market up the street... More

This place is a very good deal if you're looking for a compromise between a friendly and open family run hotel and cheap but decent place to stay. The rooms are simple but clean, good Wifi signal, roof terrace, kitchen and last but not least a very friendly and open minded owner. If the above described is what you're looking... More

As a hostel it's a joke: the rooms are dirty, shabby and ill-maintained. No breakfast. Intermittent hot water (but to be fair, this is a problem endemic to Peru). The location of the hostel on a busy street means polluted air. For 60 sol (20 USD) it's not worth it. Try the Flying Dog a couple of blocks away (70... More

Jose was amazing! We were staying in another hostel across the road that was unfriendly, noisy and filthy. We were about to go to Colca Canyon and wanted a nicer hotel to return to. Jose let us keep our bag there even though we had not stayed yet. We returned to a lovely clean room with a Nice hot shower.... More

Ask the owner anything (or just chat) ! He'll give you very valuable information and more! (you'll probably safe some money too!) Room quality is excellent, bathroom clean. Luggage storage available for when you go trekking.
