The hotel is placed in nice area: 10 minutes from Plaza de Armas and even less from the convent of St Catalena. The room (4persons) was spacious with comfortable beds. Bathroom ok with hot water. Towels changed daily, room cleaned very day as well. Very helpful staff. The breakfast simple but in line with the Peruvian standards. Really good and... More

This is a great small hotel in Arequipa at a great rate. The place is clean, well maintained and convenient to places in the center of Arequipa. Just a few blocks from the Monastery. The management were extremely helpful in many ways. Great wifi.

These were probably the best 70 soles (US$25) I have spent recently on accommodation in Peru. Thed staff were helpful and efficient and the room was quiet, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was relaxing and pleasant, sometimes to the sounds of hard rock music (played at a tasteful volume, I should add). I suppose that anyone who might want to escape... More

We stayed for a total of 5 nights, with a colca canyon trip in the middle. It really is great value. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - on the last day they offered us a room to hang around in until our evening bus at no extra charge. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are good. Breakfast... More

The staff was extremely friendly and took extra measures to ensure our stay was comfortable. They provided great recommendations and always greeted us with a smile. We had rooms 101 and 102, close to the main entrance and was a little noisy from guests in the patio area, but I am not a light sleeper so the room was good.... More

It is a hotel. In Peru, the number of rooms determines what the establishment can call itself. Very clean, pleasant, centrally located. Decent breakfast. Will definitely stay there again. Arequipa is not a very exciting city. There is not much to do other than buy Alpaca products. The 'convent of Santa Catalina' is a must see. Take a lot of... More

We stayed at Santa Marta for about four days in June and can definitely recommend this. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious and relatively quiet. It is in a great location with nice restaurants in the vicinity. I will certainly stay there again if I am in Arequipa.

This hostel provides huge rooms, beautiful terraces, laundry service, excellent breakfast services and staff. Rooms and bathrooms were well kept and always clean. The wifi signal was and connection was good for Peru. The hostel was about a 10 minute walk to the city centre and located across the street from a police station. Negatives - shower didn't always drain... More

Arequipa: Arequipa is a beautiful city, one of the most beautiful in Peru and definitely worth a visit even if you don't go to the Colca Canyon. There is the Monastario De Santa Catalina and Inca Museum with Juanita (The best preserved Inca sacrifice displayed from April - December with other mummified bodies replacing her January - March) and good... I booked my first night in Arequipa here, and just kept rolling my stay over for 6 days all up. They stored my backpack while I was in the canyon for 3 days. Want secure? It's across the street from the central police station. Close to plaza de atmas, santa catalina and the top of san francisco where there is... More
