Rooms are cosy, spotless. Staff helpfull. Walking distance to main square, neighbourhood is good. A 40 minute taxi ride to the airport. Fare i think was 20 dollars. The main square is stunning especially at night. Visiting hours to the monastry are limited, check in advance. Would use this hotel if visiting Arequipa again

I stayed here with my wife and sisters in June last year. We had a great stay, loved the breakfast each morning. The staff were very helpful and gave us lots of tips and suggestion of things to do and places to see. Location was great, just a short walk into the city. Would definitely stay again.

I agree with all the other reviews. Very nice, accomodating place. Anita was just lovely. We did the 3-day Colca Trek which I highly reccomend and then stayed at Tintin another night. They were very generous to let us use their kitchen.

This is the third time I travel to Arequipa and the previos trip was back when I was a teenager. I found this quiet, next to a river, BandB Inn that was just perfect to start my journey to Cuzco for the Inti Raymi. It was the best choice available. I am traveling with my sixteen years old son and... More

This hotel feels like home. La Casa de Tin Tin is located just a few minutes away from the city center however in a green and peaceful location, close to the river. Our Room had a balcony with a view of the river, which made waking up in the mornings a really magnificent experience. The place is clean, nice and... More

We loved La Casa de Tintin; the location was fine, a pleasant, easy walk to the center of town and decent restaurants; the ability to book a 2-day tours to the Colca Canyon; the views of the river from our room; the quiet! and the very nice breakfast. All in all, highly recommended.

A South American Track & Field championship brought us to Arequipa and we were advised to stay in La Casa de Tintin, we fortunately did with part of the peruvian team I coached. Located in a very quiet, safe and beautiful eviroment, La casa de Tintin was the perfect place as a headquarter for my team. The friendly and familiar... More

We went to the Casa de Tintin after a let's say adventurous stay in Puno and it literally felt like heaven! It is a clean, warm, friendly family run hotel that has everything to make you feel at home! We stayed there twice, before and after our tour to Colca Canyon - and after our first stay we were already... More

Situated next to the river by the extraordinary Puente Fierro this small hotel is situated in a residential area of Arequipa. It is around 20 to 30 minutes walk to the centre of town through the residential streets which are safe enough during the day although we were advised to get a taxi back if we were after 5pm.
