Stayed here two nights. Great environment, quiet part of town, average breakfast. A bit of walking to the main attractions of Arequipa, but I did not mind since I like to walk. The premises were clean, great garden, impressive architecture in main building. I'd stay here again. Good value.

I still dream about our stay here. This little BandB is tucked away in a quiet area. The architechture and the rooms are extremely classy and sophisticated. The entire facility is super clean, and they have fantastic bathrooms. We had a gorgeous view of the city. The place is owned by a really friendly couple. They were very helpful and... More

We visited Arequipa primarily to move on to the Colca Canyon. We stayed most often in hostals, but this was a reasonably priced hotel. we had a big room and a fantastic bed. The hotel is in a quiet part of town within walking distance of the town center.

Due to our flight arrangements, we were required to stay overnight in Arequipa from Lima to Cusco. Our travel agent recommended this place even the local taxi driver had problem finding this little oasis. We arrived late (after 10pm) and had to leave by 6am the next morning. Wished we had more time enjoying what this place has to offer... More

I was part of the medical team in June, 2013. A number of our group have already written! The service was superb. The morning breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a B&B. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and attractive. The location is just far enough from the center of town to avoid the congestion, but near... More

We stayed 2 weeks while on a medical trip in Arequipa. This hotel has some Inca ruins that were discovered while they were renovating. It has a nice pool and the rooms are spacious and nicely renovated esp the bathrooms. We were in the main building overlooking the pool. The dining room is beautiful with artifacts that were dug up... More

We stayed here for three nights based on the very positive reviews but although the hotel is in a beautiful property and the room was pleasant enough with a really great view it is not in a great location. We found the bed very hard and the bedding uncomfortable. It is a good 20 minutes walk to the town making... More

Hello mister Borkin, I can inform you that after several calls the electricity company has repaired the light post just in front of our hotel, so it is not scary anymore to return to the hotel. As a resident of Peru you should know, that it is very hard to get some one to repair things, especialy them. And for... More

We recently travelled to Arequipa and stayed here for three nights. The owners were wonderful and accommodating (they very kindly helped us out when I made a scheduling snafu- which I was not at all expecting), the room was lovely (with two balconies), large, and very clean and included WiFi. The breakfast every morning was wonderful, fresh, and filling. The... More

I was very pleased with my stay at Posada el Castillo. The hotel has a unique history and homey atmosphere that would be difficult to find elsewhere in Arequipa. The house has a very historic feel, and the gardens and patios are beautiful and relaxing. The dining area is especially original, with its display of pre-Incan tombs and artifacts, which... More

I enjoyed several nights stay at this beautiful hotel. The architecture is wonderful with solid wood staircases and a lovely stained glass window in the lobby. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The dining area is very nice, with preservation of cultural artifacts discovered during renovations perfectly displayed. The staff was attentive and helpful. This was a relaxing place... More
