We stayed in this hotel as a family and were very satisfied. The rooms were spacious with big and clean bathrooms in a beautiful house in a quiet environment. The hotel is a bit on the outskirts of Areqiupa Centre but you can either walk to the Plaza de Armas in 15min or grab a Taxi that takes you there... More

no doubt, they are not number one on trip for nothing. This is a excellent place for a familly travelling round the world, to get rest and explore the white city of arequipa. The swimming poll is perfect for kids and the excellent breakfasts with deliciuous orange juice or strawberry... Just excellent place And this is the former hous of... More

I stayed here while travelling with family so I saw 3 rooms. All were excellently presented, large, clean and had excellent bathrooms. I cannot fault them on the rooms. The wifi reached all rooms. The breakfast was a good continental style breakfast. The location is quite good, it is not in the centre of arequipa, it is a 10-15 minute... More

Stayed in the main house and the room was lovely. About a 20 minute walk from town which we did during the day and felt safe, but did as advised and cabbed it at night 4 soles. Never really found out what time breakfast was served as we had some communication problems, but when we appeared at 8am and nothing... More

We stayed four nights in the modern block at the back of the garden. The room had wood floors, lots of space and light, comfortable beds, and a large, very clean bathroom. Out front was a veranda with a table and chairs and views of the volcanoes, Eiffel's bridge, and the posada's flower-filled garden. The staff were friendly and helpful,... More

This is a very nice hotel situated in an old mansion. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was quite good. The garden was lovely and well tended. The owner, Hans, was very accommodating and allowed us to check out very late for an evening flight. They even sent tea up to my room because I wasn't feeling well... More

All the previous reviews are completely accurate. We recently stayed there a total of 4 days...beautiful property, good breakfast, free wi-fi, friendly owners. While it is a15-20 minute walk to the plaza we did not mind it...over the 4 days we probably did the walk a dozen times without a problem. The street leading to the plaza is not attractive... More

We spent four nights at Posada el Castillo and enjoyed it a lot!!! The place with it's extraordinary beautiful garden is a gem and eventhough it's a bit to go to the city center of Arequipa it is more than worth it to choose Posada el Castillo. Breakfast was perfect, especially the choice of fresh juices as well as the... More
