This is a great hotel, very clean, great staff, great breakfast, and a perfect location in the center of old town Cuenca. It's right around the corner from the main square and close to restaurants and grocery stores. We stayed in room 305 and we were told it was the best room in the hotel. It has a great view... More

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful old art deco hotel and enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms are huge and nice. We didn't have a window which would have been nice but we did have a ceiling fan. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Unfortunately we were only in the Hotel Carvallo overnight but this is a beautiful property, built originally in the 1920s for a Spanish family as their home. It is an interesting mix of southern Spain and art deco. The only meal we had time for was breakfast, which was fine. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We spent three nights at this hotel on a tour with OAT. Our room (we think it was #206) was on the second floor of facing the second of two inner courtyards. There is no elevator for this hotel. The room had two twin beds, both of which were up against the left and right walls, and one luggage rack.... More

The hotel itself is clean and attractive. The location is two blocks from the main square, which doesn't mean all that much as there is precious little to see after you've visited the churches. The staff is lovely and helpful. Now for the lowdown. The construction leaves much to be desired. Our room overlooked the street and I felt as... More

We recently stayed three nights. The hotel is really well located being only round the corner from the main square and other historical sites. The staff were very helpful and professional. We had a room overlooking the street but I am not sure whether other rooms would have access to natural daylight or look in to the central courtyard so... More

I stayed three nights at the Hotel Carvallo, a very nice and centrally-located hotel in Cuena. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there because this renovated hotel was cozy, beautiful and had very friendly and helpful staff. My room, located on the second floor, was extremely quiet and comfortable. It had a double bed, two round night tables, a very pretty... More

Had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated hotel with modern amenities. Rooms are quite spacious. Staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet and in-room WIFI are included. The location couldn't be any better - 5 min walk to the Old Cathedral.

The staff was helpful and nice. One of my friends had to stay in the hotel because she was not feeling well and the staff was very concerned about her. The breakfast is good, the room was spacious but i think this should be a 3star hotel. The bathrooms were simple and laid back, the decoration was incoherent some nice... More

Stayed here three nights as part of an organized tour. The hotel is well located right in the center of the historic area and close to the markets. The rooms are very clean. My room was rather small for the amount of furniture that was in it. The place to hang clothes was rather insufficient. The tub/shower was dangerously slippery... More
