Our 3 night stay proved to be a pleasure. This unique, old world hotel provided a very large room that was clean, well kept and had everything we needed. The location is walking distance to the historic downtown core. Lots of restaurants in the area and as close as next door. Staff were friendly and helpful. No, this is not... More

When we arrived the room we booked was not available so they upgraded us and we had a very nice old style room with high ceilings and spacious;during our 4 nights stay the staff was very friendly and efficient. The location is excellent so you can walk to the main attractions,restaurants... The buffet breakfast is fine but can be busy sometimes.... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights recently. The hotel has a certain old European charm, and it is conveniently located in or near the center of town. The staff were extremely nice and it was a pleasant stay. There were a few things we didn’t like. There was no safe in the room. The front... More

This is an old hotel but beautifully appointed; we had a double room of ample proportions, a fine bed and a long bath. The management and reception were charmimg and the meals , which we ate in the hotel, were excellent. This is old fashioned comfort.

Our group of 8 were delighted to arrive at this well appointed hotel with an interesting inner atrium. We were lucky enough to be allocated Room 305 and enjoyed the view over the red roof tops towards a church spire. We had 2 double beds pushed together with plenty of pillows and comfortable linen. We even had a canopy over... More

This is a great hotel, very clean, great staff, great breakfast, and a perfect location in the center of old town Cuenca. It's right around the corner from the main square and close to restaurants and grocery stores. We stayed in room 305 and we were told it was the best room in the hotel. It has a great view... More

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful old art deco hotel and enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms are huge and nice. We didn't have a window which would have been nice but we did have a ceiling fan. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Unfortunately we were only in the Hotel Carvallo overnight but this is a beautiful property, built originally in the 1920s for a Spanish family as their home. It is an interesting mix of southern Spain and art deco. The only meal we had time for was breakfast, which was fine. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We spent three nights at this hotel on a tour with OAT. Our room (we think it was #206) was on the second floor of facing the second of two inner courtyards. There is no elevator for this hotel. The room had two twin beds, both of which were up against the left and right walls, and one luggage rack.... More

The hotel itself is clean and attractive. The location is two blocks from the main square, which doesn't mean all that much as there is precious little to see after you've visited the churches. The staff is lovely and helpful. Now for the lowdown. The construction leaves much to be desired. Our room overlooked the street and I felt as... More
