Great location in Cuenca. Close enough to walk around. Safe area. Double rooms extremely large with private bathroom. Excellent shower with hot water. Breakfast was outstanding. Two years ago we discovered Macondo and were delighted. We had a large room with nice beds and the staff was friendly and breakfast was wonderful. I don't know what more you could want. The location is good. The hotel is immaculate, the garden is lovely. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and courteous. And you are in Cuenca. I would return there any time. more

Hostal Macondo in Cuenca is a little gem for the traveler. Western owned and sensitive to the needs of travelers, it is affordable, clean, cute , secure and friendly.
