Is a comfortable hotel in the center of the old town. Breakfast was very basic and the rooms are comfortable with basic bathroom. Water pressure was very low so taking a shower took some time at the time I was there. Stayed there due to our tour company using the place if I had a choice would prefer elsewhere

On my trip to Ecuador last month I stayed in the Hotel San Francisco de Quito and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel was close to everything! The hotel was beautiful. The biggest reason for me why it was an excellent hotel is because of the roof top... More

Location is great. The staff were friendly excluding the breakfast staff. Room was clean. Breakfast was scrambled eggs with buns, tea, coffee and juice. You could get extras at a cost. As we were arriving at midnight they arranged a taxi pick up for us. A total rip off. They charged $45US. A metered cab back to airport a few... More

Our stay started badly (our pre-booked premium room was not available upon arrival), but went smoothly after that. So much so, that we came back on two more occasions during our 4 week stay in Ecuador; partly due to liking the hotel and partly due to leaving our bulky luggage in storage. The rooms around the central courtyard trap every... More

Nice hotel in the middle of Quito. Great location at a walking distance of a lot of sightseeing in the city centre. The breakfast seemed simple although with a bit of spanish one can get a bit more. A few more staff that are able to speak English would be recommended for this hotel, definetly at the reception. Great stay... More

The positive: Our room was nice and the facilities were excellent. The negative: There is a lot of noices comming from the common room and the street. The breakfast was ok, but the chefs preparing it was compleetly ignorant when you entered the dining area. It was like you where an annoyance to them.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of the old city center, you can reach all the attractions by foot. There is a supermarket next door and a pharmacy around the corner. Most rooms are located around a patio, but some are along poorly lit corridors or only reachable via narrow stairs. The patio is lovely with lots... More

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The central courtyard was very airy and comfortable place to sit. We had room in the front, so it was a bit noisy with early morning deliveries. I took a taxi from the airport, very late at night, and there was somebody waiting for me to let me in!

The hotel is is in the middle of the historic center which is quite convenient as you can walk to main old city attractions and monuments . Do not expect any luxury as the rooms are basic with a very old TV that is useless. People who serve breakfast are not the most friendly in the world and we noticed... More

Hotel had great security. Lobby (interior courtyard) was beautiful. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were nice - all facing the interior courtyard but could be a bit noisy depending on your location. Our room was near the front desk so we heard phones ringing, people talking, and security door buzzing. Breakfast included buffet style scrambled eggs, rolls, coffee, tea, and... More
