We found this a wonderful place to stay in downtown Quito. There are excellent places to eat nearby and the breakfast we were served was fine. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. Hall lights are on sensors to conserve electricity. The wiring and other amenities are modern.

Nice hotel converted from an old mansion. Room was smaller than other places we stayed, but spotless. Staff must buzz you onto the property for security. The luggage guys were the most cheerful we encountered in South America. Wifi signal was so strong, we could actually make a 30 min Skype video call. Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of... More

My friend and I stayed here three times passing through and overnighting in Quito in between different parts of a tour to the Galapagos and Amazon. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and cosy. The hotel has character and charm - which we loved. The breakfast was basic but still very nice and filling -... More

I greatly enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful (one even let me barrow his personal computer to upload pictures). The room was spacious and the bed pretty comfortable. The hotel is pretty centrally located. I was able to do some great walking of the city from this location.

This a great place to stay. Close to everything, safe, clean, unique. Convenient airport shuttle. I didn't give it 5 stars because of a few very minor things: bed a bit short for my 6' frame, and the advertised on-site Cuban restaurant was closed. Overall awesome place - would def return for another visit.

Reached the hotel at around midnight, rang the bell several times without any result. Ultimately our cab driver called the hotel and after many rings the phone was picked up and we were let in. Check-in was a breeze. Later on in the morning we discovered that we were in the middle of the town with access to several eateries... More

Or group of three (one double, one single room) enjoyed our three night stay. The hotel has been well described by previous reviewers - very comfortable three star boutique style hotel with attentive staff, good breakfast and comfortable but small rooms. Everything was exceptionally clean. A short walk to the centre of the Mariscal district. We had one noisy night... More

We arrived after a long travel day and were warmly greeted by the front desk. After unpacking we ask if we could use a clothes dryer to dry about 10 items that were wet from our travels we were told no problem. The clothes were dried and delivered to our room. We ask for restaurant recommendation and were give a... More

Location is excellent, most staff is very friendly, and breakfast is varied and served in generous quantities. We had some problems, though. The rooms are small and the walls are thin, so you can hear everything that happens in other rooms or the hallway. Mattresses are a bit hard and uncomfortable. Hot water is limited - they blamed it on... More

Neighborhood is safe and easily accessible, the hotel property is old world charming, full of hidden nooks and crannies, very welcoming. Staff is super nice, and it's close to lots of good shopping....
