I was visiting Ecuador for business, and found this hotel using trip advisor near where I would be working. The high ratings are well deserved. Beautiful little hotel. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, not very large, but that wasn't necessary. Great water pressure, even on the top floor in room 27 where I was located. Very quiet at... More

Beautiful hotel.. I love the Cuban designs. The rooms are small but still beautiful and worth every penny, which wasn't much. The hotel is in prime location to many restaurants and clubs. From the hotel to the equator was about 25 minutes in a taxi. Did I mention that breakfast here was delicious?!

We stayed here for 3 nights before our Galápagos trip and for 2 nights after. Both rooms we had were spacious and very comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely lots of fruit, granola, toast, juice and eggs just what you need before a busy day sight seeing. The staff were very friend organising taxis, laundry and storing our luggage for us... More

Enjoyed two nights here before heading to the Galapagos. We were part of a 30 person tour so I cannot speak to the value - I have no idea of the rate. This had the feel of a boutique hotel with very nice rooms and en suite bathrooms. Location is a good part of the city for tourists. The staff... More

This hotel is great value with friendly helpful staff. Also a good breakfast to start your day. It is clean and in a good location for getting around, we walked everywhere without any trouble during the day and kept to well lit street at night. We highly recommend this value for money hotel.

These folks welcomed us with open arms to their hotel and Ecuador! Loved the warm and cozy feel, very clean with professional and friendly staff, rooms perfect with everything needed, including showers with great water pressure! Perfect location, able to walk to many options for excellent food, shopping, and site seeing. Much better than a large hotel! Excellent English speaking... More

Tranquil old style hotel in among a modern busy part of Quito next to Foch Plaza, Great breakfast and plenty restaurants in the surrounding areas. The staff were very helpful again and allowed us to leave luggage there for over a week while we went to the Galapagos

I visited Quito in mid-January 2015, as my daughter was studying there, and I stayed six nights in Hotel Vieja Cuba. The hotel staff is excellent, with Daniela the manager really standing out for her professionalism, assistance in English, and knowledge of Quito. The rest of the staff are most friendly and helpful - everyone is upbeat. They are constantly... More

We enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. It definitely is different than staying at a chain. The rooms, although small, were very clean and decorated nicely. It is within walking distance of many excellent restaurants, as well as a block away from a supermarket. The staff was absolutely first rate, going out of their way to make our stay... More
