We arrived here late at night after arriving in Ecuador on our honeymoon. Although we were only to be there a few hours, the room was clean, beautiful and fit in wonderfully with the old style of this area of Quito - we even had giant rosary beads above the bed! Left early after a nice breakfast - staff were... more

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas (before and after Galapagos trip) and we were surprised at how cold and noisy the rooms were (compared to Hotel Quito where we stayed the night before). Its a large, old building with no heating and due to the altitude they do experience some cold weather in Quito. Not something I thought... more

I recently returned from a trip to Ecuador over the Thanksgiving holiday, which included a great stay at the Patio Andaluz Hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, just a few blocks from the plaza grande and many of the historically significant churches and squares. For the special rate I found online (less than $95... more

Stayed there 2 days prior and one following a trip to the Galapagos Islands. Beautiful small hotel in "Old" Quito close to historic buildings, squares, churches etc .. Staff very accommodating, dining above average. Suggest reviewing room accommodations prior to settling in as some rooms have unique bathroom facilities especially if two couples are rooming together. Also music in the... more

This hotel is in a great position to visit the historic part of the city. Initial impressions of the hotel are very good, the staff were really great too. I had requested a room on the 2nd patio on the 2nd floor as mentioned in many other trip advisors reviews, this was confirmed via emails but we were continually upgraded... more

Hotel is in a good location in old town. The lobby and building are well maintained and attractively furnished and decorated. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The staff worked very hard to maintain the looks and cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was large and nicely decorated and maintained. We had no complaints with the hotel. At the published... more

Location, location, location. The hotel was a block from all the famous churches and plazas. It was half a block from the Presidential Palace where you can see the changing of the guards. Rooms we had opened to the inner court. They were small but comftorable. Luxurious bath amenities but major negative was no air conditioning or way to open... more

This is a beautiful hotel in the Colonial District of Quito. The staff were great--every single person who worked there was wonderful from the door man, bell man, front desk clerks, the housekeeping staff, and the wait staff in the restaurant. I requested a fan and a hair dryer, and within a minute someone was at the door with both.... more

The location is incredible, centrally located just a block from Independence Plaza. The desk staff is incredibly helpful and speak great English -- this was a very important trait as we had trouble getting our luggage from the airline. The rooms are impeccable and spacious, and a good value. more

Beautifully located in the old colonial part of Quito, the courteous and efficent staff made our four day stay in Quito quite enjoyable. The building is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is quite good. more
