Inside the Reina Isabel is a lovely hotel and we stayed there on two occasions recently for 4 consecutive nights and returned for one night after a Galapagos cruise. Rooms are very comfortable, staff are very helpful and food in the restaurant was good. The problem with this hotel is it's location in the business district of Quito when it... More

We recently stayed twice at Reina Victoria for a couple of days. Each time, the receptionist surprised us VERY pleasantly by free upgrades (once at the new tower, and second time on the 8th floor). Overall, it turned out to be excellent value for the money. Mostly very friendly staff, nice breakfast and handy location, even though vigilance is required... More

Located in the New Town, we stayed here for three nights over a weekend and the area was around it was virtually deserted during the day. The room and bathroom (with spa bath) were clean large and modern - only criticism is the lack of coffee making facilities (although that is not unusual in hotels of this type) and an... More

Located in the New Town section of Quito. The area can be unsafe (particularly at night), but there was a security guard on hand every time we left the building. It eased any concerns we had about theft and security. The staff was friendly and very helpful in setting up an excursion to the Equator, calling cabs, and recommending restaurants... More

Located close to Plaza Foche with very nice rooms (via booking.com) and a very friendly and supportive service. The parking space is a little tricky for pick up's but we finally managed to find a place for our car. But nevertheless - we will be back soon!

This place is positively the best. The whole staff are great at their job. When you check in you are greeted by the friendliest staff. So helpful with everything & anything! The waiters are pleasant & attentive. The bell men are very helpful, whether dealing with baggage, bringing something to the room to calling taxi. I now live in the... More

We used this hotel as a base for 3 weeks in Quito, during which time we made 3 separate trips to other parts of Quito. The hotel is well located for eating areas and getting around the long, thin, city. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The hotel were particularly accommodating each time we went off on our multi-day... More

This hotel was booked by LLama travel as the base hotel for my trip through Ecuador. I returned 3 times during the trip, each time experiencing a different room, all of a high standard. Each time I was able to leave my case with them for safe keeping. Nothing was too much trouble, organised a power supply for my mobile... More

And right around the corner from Freedom Bike Rental. The desk called us a cab for 4 AM , andhad hot fresh coffee in the lobby too!
