the place was nice, I never took their food because i was eating elsewhere. So i have only room reviews and the ambience. The hotel is nice, the people are good even though I could not speak Spanish. The hotel has good view of Quito and its old Churches and its a stone throw from some famous churches.

The hotel Reina Isabel offers everything you need for a excellent value. Big and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast, cafeteria and restaursnt, great location close to the nightlife area. You can do a lot of things by night and it is safe. Ask for Juan at the desk. He helps you for anything you need. Top hotel! Will go back anytime.

Stayed two nights in the new building, in a spacious room well furnished and with A/C. Good WiFi connection. Stayed here twice again few days later as part of a group visiting the Jungle and then the Galapagos. Upon return from those two we stayed in standard rooms on the old building, without A/C. Good breakfast, good location within walking... More

A modern, clean and very secure hotel in an area with many restaurants, small markets, banks, everything you might need. Spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows, thick blankets for those chilly nights but some extra heat can be turned on (not needed in mid-March when I visited). No A/C (not needed at 9300 feet). Good wifi. Fine breakfast. Very nice... More

I had a business meeting in Quito and had an excellent stay in this hotel. Even got an upgrade to a double room. The direct location is not great but it's quite central. Like all the hotels in the city its far away from the airport.

We initially stayed in a cheaper hotel tucked away somewhere but moved to this hotel after returning to Quito from an excursion to the coast. It was a blessing! Very friendly and helpful front desk. The street noise was loud during the day but got better after dark. Lots if hot water!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Close to restaurants and bars so you can easily find somewhere to go. We had a large room which was very clean with all the usual amenities. The staff on reception were helpful and pleasant. WiFi was a good speed.

Very modern hotel inside, although outside doesn't look promising... We were upgraded to the suite - it was wonderful! The only downside - Wifi was not working... I was there only 1 night but during THAT night it was not working. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed on holidays at Reina Isabel from February 19th until the 23rd and I can only praise the installations and all the staff. The location is perfect; it is set right in the neighborhood were all the excursions leave from and near nice restaurants that you can just walk to. I had initially thought the old town would... Secure, beautifully appointed and wonderful rooms, but if you need anything beyond the ordinary, the staff will not help. They will show you absolutely no consideration other than the most basic greeting. My wife returned early to the hotel from our exploration of Ecuador because she had become quite sick, and the staff refused to give her a room. She... More
