After the long flight from London to Quito it was sheer bliss to be met at the airport and driven to this oasis of calm just 10 minutes away. The staff are efficient yet laid-back and friendly. The immaculate grounds are delightful and provided an ideal setting in which to unwind before flying out to the Galapagos Islands the following... More

Guest left and one guy went into the room to clean it up. In flip second, the bed is organised (the door was left open after cleaning), and it is "ready" to welcome the next guest. I can't help but went back to room to check my bed. Found many hairs on the both bed and pillows. Disgusting. Luckily I... More

Stopped overnight between Galapagos and heading south from Quito, so just wanted something convenient near the airport. Our flight was delayed by hours but having emailed them we still had someone to meet us and pick us up for $5 each. Made us a sandwich even though quite late, then we luckily had the dorm room to ourselves. Comfortable warm... More

I stayed at Hosteria San Carlos Tababela for one night after flying into the airport late. I left early the next morning. The hotel had an airport transport for me ($5 one way); with a representative waiting at the airport with a sign. The single room was small, but comfortable. The room had a TV, double bed (very comfortable), and... More

We arrived to Quito at midnight and had to leave next day after lunch. The location of the Hotel is very convenient, especially for those people who do not intend to go to the city. We were met by the owner, very friendly and helpful man. The transfer costed 10$. The room was not super-fashioned, but clean and beds/pillows were... More

I have just booked my 3rd trip here. I will never go into Cuenca proper again when I am traveling in and out of Quito airport. The beds are firm. The rooms are very clean. There is a tv in the room. The rates are very reasonable especially when it is expensive to get into the city (unless you use... More

I spent two nights here recuperating from travel and prior to flying to Coca for rain forest lodge. I had arranged a pick up who was there with sign in hand ready to take me back to the hotel. The person meeting you has excellent english, but other staff; not so much. One used an electronic translator which came in... More

If you have an 10 hour layover in Quito and need only a clean bed, bath and airport transfer then this is the place for you. We had an overnight on our way to Cuenca. For a very good price we received extremely efficient transport to and from the airport (10 minutes away), friendly staff, clean bathroom, very hot water... More

After reading the few mixed signals on this hotel, I was especially curious to try it for our evening between flights. But first to book: When I tried to book through the hotel website I was told that the hotel was filled. That was disappointing as other hotels near the airport were also filled. Unbeknownst to me, my husband was... More

We were picked up at the airport only a few miles away for US$5 each. We selected the dormitorio - about 5 bunks with a shower room (US$15 each). The bathroom was next door. Beds were clean and comfortable. A typical breakfast was served. I'd advise to skip the lunch (US$7) as there are restaurants within walking distance. The grounds... More
