This was approximately my 6th visit to this property and it's my favorite place to stay in Quito. Off the beaten track to the extent that it is QUIET at night, yet it is easy to get anywhere from here. The staff, as always, is VERY helpful and taxis are inexpensive. My mattress in the room called "Galapagos" could stand... More

If you've seen the movie, you'll know what I mean. My first impression was not as good as my final impression. This little place really grows on you. It's quaint and rustic, and the staff is as friendly and helpful as it is possible to be. Ignacio would have done anything for us. It really did start to feel like... More

Room was small but comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The hike up the stairs at Quito's altitude was a bit of a challenge. Hotel is also off the beaten path....cab drivers had trouble locating it. It's in a quiet area and getting a comfortable nights sleep was not a problem.

For bussines is a perfect hotel and for work and relaxing in the same time. You have space inside the room and a nice decoration into to the hotel. I think and advice that to stay with the children will be a perfect hotel.

My wife and I stayed here and both really enjoyed it. Our host was very attentive and helpful. The room was large and clean with a great view. Close by if you walk up the hill there is a nice restaurant with amazing views. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here on 2 occasions for a couple of nights and were extremely impressed with the quality and value for money of this marvellous place. The rooms are certainly not your average accommodation.. We had 4 large beds for the 2 of us and plenty of space to spread our belongings. The hotel is just outside the noisy tourist... More

I led a group of teenagers coming to Quito after a stay in the Galapagos. They were tired and hungry and worn out after a long travel day through Guayaquil. The hotel welcomed us, fed us a great meal, and treated the kids like family. We stayed a second night after a day in Otovalo, and once again were treated... More

I have stayed here many times and always received the most attentive service of any hotel! It's located in a quiet area, a cab ride away from the busy, touristy area of Ave. Amazonas. It's a lot safer than many areas of town, yet within walking distance of a Mall with an inexpensive food court. I have taken 2 tour... More

This hotel was ok -- just ok. We discovered better quality places to stay for close to same cost. We arrived late at night, tired, strung out, not adjusted to the altitude, and with several pieces of heavy luggage. The desk clerk was very sweet and told me in limited English that our room was on the third floor. He... More

Really cool hotel with great design and clean rooms. Location is good, a quick taxi ride ($3) to local shopping and restaurants. Service was amazing, Byron was incredible! He was so helpful in guiding us to good places in Quito and he ensured every need was met promptly.
