Good location. Near the busy Amazones Ave. Easy walk to restaurants. Hotel has breakfast included and quite adequate. Front desk has tour guide information which was very helpful. Enjoyed breakfast on the outdoor patio which was an absolute delightful experience among the colorful architecture in the pathway leading to other rooms.

Hotel Cafe Cultura is a grand old building; charming, comfortable, and in a very Ecuadorian way, quite idiosyncratic. No room is the same, and the walls bear delighful murals. Ours, however, is not a happy tale. Under the supervision of hotel staff, we left a pack with half our gear in the safe storage room in the hotel while we... More

Lovely hotel, charming and unusual decorations. Conveniently located. We stayed in a room in a wing (not the main house). It was a little bit run down, but came with a giant tree growing through the middle of the room and out of the roof, which you don't get to see every day! I did see rooms in the main... More

We spent a day in Quito after our family trip to the Galapagos. We loved the charm of the Cafe Cultura hotel. It is beautifully decorated with unusual artwork and gorgeous flower arrangements. Everyone that works there is friendly and extremely helpful. Each room is unique and the accommodations were very comfortable. There are no elevators so you should request... More

This hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke English. The breakfast was eggs and bread. There was nothing super special about this hotel but I would stay there again if I went back to Quito.

This is not a chain hotel. It is totally unique. You know that you are in Ecuador. Every room is completely different. No elevator, so if you are on the third floor you take the stairs, but they will carry your luggage. The beds are comfortable. They supply a pitcher of filtered water and glasses so you don't have to... More

I was scouting for hotels in Quito to accommodate my (small) groups in Winter and wanted something cozy but refined and here it was ... Hotel Café Cultura. Located in the Mariscal District, it is a perfect spot to settle in. The owner, an architect, with local artists has transformed this historical home into a beautiful work of art. The... More

The first thing to strike you on entering the hotel is how beautiful the walls look - all of them, in every room, are floor to ceiling frescoes. The staff are excellent - all were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. They also manned the desk 24 hour per day. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they are comfortable, and... More
