If you want to go back in time and enjoy a great hotel, great service and exceptional food, this is the one. A beautiful boutique Hotel very near to Alameda park with 15 rooms each one of them with a great decoration resembling the old times. One of the best choices in Quito.

We stayed here before going to the Galápagos Islands. The rooms were nicely decorated and the breakfast was good too. There are some gardens outback with local birds, a good place to take some pictures. The only downside would be the lack of elevators, this combined with the altitude make climbing the stairs an effort.

The Mansion del Angel is a small, 14-room hotel, but it is well-worth the stay. From the moment you walk through the gates and up the stairs, the service you receive is exemplary. All of the staff to a one are helpful and encouraging, even appearing before you know help is needed. We stayed in one of the downstairs rooms... More

My wife and I recently spent one night at this beautiful boutique hotel. It's tiny--no more than twenty rooms--but the accommodations are superb and the breakfast the following morning was delicious. Excellent wi-fi throughout the hotel, too.

My wife and I stayed at this 14-room boutique hotel for six nights at the end of May 2014 before we joined a cruise in the Galapagos Islands. As soon as we arrived, we were very impressed by the friendly and efficient staff. We also arrived just in time for the complimentary afternoon tea that the hotel offers its guests.... More

The rooms at the hotel were absolutely stunning. My wife and I would normally not stay at a hotel this nice (and pricey), but it was a part of the Galapagos tour we were on. The service was excellent and the owner spent time discussing his acquisiton and remodeling of the property with us. The food was very good and... More

Mansion del Angel was our final hotel, at the end of a 3 week trip to Peru & Ecuador. What a git! This is the perfect place to treat yourself in every way, and was particularly fun as we caught up with some traveling friends we had met in Peru, so could share our joy. It's hard to take the... More

For the moment we entered this restored mansion to the moment we left we found it to be one of the best hotels we've stayed in throughout the world. Every room was distinctive and different, even the smallest of rooms (which is not to say any room was small) was delightfully decorated and appointed. Service was fabulous, breakfasts a treat... Had a couple of nights here between Galapagos and our Amazon experience. Unique hotel near the old city. The building itself has a colourful history but currently is a hotel for I would guess around 20 guests. Staff are helpful and the meals were excellent. The Mansion de Angel is truly a mansion inside and out. Decorated tastefully in old world charm it would be just as suitable in any European city. The staff are very welcoming and gracious. The owner is often present to chat about the Mansion. A wonderful stay.
