A must if you are into restored inns. Jorge the owner made all the guests feel welcome. The dinner we had there was very better than eating out. The spa treatment both my husband and I had the chocolate luxury massage absolutely the best place we have stayed in quite awhile. The staff was very attentive to our every wish.... More

If you are looking for a private and friendly boutique hotel in Quito then look no further. Moments from the historic town, you will enjoy the colonial charm of the Hotel Mansion del Angel. We had a sumptuous four-poster king bed in a lovely suite and enjoyed the late breakfasts (up to 10am). The owner has two sister hotels and... More

My husband and I stayed here in January 2014. We have thought back multiple times to our fond memories here. The rooms are large and come with vases of roses. The turndown service with hot water bottles inspired us to purchase our own since it just seemed like the height of luxury. This is a unique place to stay and... More

My husband and I were in Ecuador and the Galapagos for three weeks. For most of our trip we chose budget or mid-range hotels, but we decided to splurge a bit for the last few days and stay here. We had a great time, though the hotel was almost TOO fancy for us in some ways. The breakfast is great,... More

this was a great choice. We were upgraded to a suite for the same price with an elegant 4 poster bed and large sitting area. 24 hour reception service, and all those folks very friendly. Most spoke some English and helped us with or poor spanish. It is probably a 15 minute walk to the center of the historic district,... More

This is a beautiful Hotel with a gracious and helpful staff. My guess would be it was a mansion that was converted into a hotel/spa. The staffs command of English is good and they are very helpful in providing suggestions for sightseeing. The first night I ate at their bistro and the food was very good and beautifully presented. I... More

This hotel is okay. It is located between the old and new town. Our room, while beautiful, had a large window above the door to the hallway, so that at night the hall light poured into the room. Additionally there was always fairly loud music playing at night which we had to call to have turned down so that we... More

Hotel Mansion Del Angel was truly a unique experience! The hotel is located close to “La Alameda Park” in Quito Ecuador. The view as you walk up to this hotel from via Gandara is Majestic! (note 1: via Gandara is a little dead end road, you will have to climb the steps up to via Los Rios & cross the... More

Our group of 14 stayed here on three occasions when transiting Quito on the way to the Galapagos and to the jungle. Everyone was enchanted by the old mansion and its Rococo style. The service from the bilingual staff was attentive and efficient, but not intrusive. The dining room was charming and the offerings delicious. If you don't want a... More

Beautiful boutique hotel with charm you won't find in chains. All staff extremely friendly and helpful in directions, sites to see and all suggestions. My wife and I started our 9 days in Ecuador here for 2 nights and after a week in Galapagos came back for our last night. Both rooms special and luxurious. We had romantic wonderful dinner... More
