This Boutique hotel was a great find. Location was very central right in the middle of Mariscal and Old Town neighborhoods both are within walking distance. Converted from a colonial Mansion the place has a unique charm. The furniture and art coupled with the scent of chocolate and fresh roses give it a very romantic feel. The rooms were very... More

My 28 year old daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights on our way to the Galapagos. The hotel is absolutely charming and the staff was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. Like many other reviewers, we loved our stay. The room we occupied on the second floor was spacious, with a large sitting room separate from the bedroom and... More

Urge anyone traveling to Ecuador and staying in Quito to stay at the Mansion del Angel. My career has been spent working for hotels around the globe, and I must say this hotel has become one of my favorite. As a restored private mansion, this hotel felt like a private residence, but with all the comforts of a luxury hotel.... More

This is truly a lost opportunity. The hotel could be so much more. You need some context, The hotel is a renovated old home. It truly was a mansion at some point. The art inside the hotel is very welcoming. BUT: 1) The hotel has 4 rooms that are right next to the reception desk. As you can imagine this... More

The Boutique Mansion del Angel is a charming hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating and we really loved every part of our stay. The linens were crisp and luxurious. The rooms were elegant, spacious and clean. The baths were modern, with updated marble fixtures. We loved the chocolate scented toiletries. Breakfast was tasty, we loved the twittering of the kept... This is a beautiful old building with lovely Rococo furnishings. The staff were accommodating and our diner and breakfast were good. Thee are a lot of steps and you will quickly get winded carrying your luggage at Quito's altitude. We were a drive to the Colonial part of the city and there were no restaurants near by that were open... More

We stayed here for one night at the start of our visit to Quito. This hotel is in a beautiful, grand mansion which is beautifully restored. We stayed in room 102, which was pretty, but did have some evident wear and tear, and smelled a little musty. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious. We asked the host at check-in if... More

This hotel is excellent and one cannot go wrong by staying here. The location is near enough to walk into the historic center of the old town and also accessible to several museums and churches in the "new town." This is a special and romantic place- the small restaurant within provides excellent food for breakfast as well as dinner and... More

Our travel consultant selected this hotel for our honeymoon stay. Is located on the edge of new town and old town. The taxi ride to the heart of old town was about 10 - 30 minutes, depending on traffic. About a 20 minute walk. Our room was large and comfortable and clean and on the garden side. I understand all... More
