Despite its reputation and star rating, this is an old and very out dated hotel. Furniture and fixtures are in dire need of replacement. Reserved an executive room which turned out to be a small and cramped den. Staff are indifferent and unhelpful. Request to check out an hour later was promptly denied even when the room was free. The... More

I stayed at this hotel twice as part of a group tour. The rooms were clean, comfortable, good Wi-Fi, and the restaurant has amazing views and breakfast buffet. What ruined the experience was the evening receptionists (The morning ones were great!). They were rude, didn't want to help, even the same people have different group members different responses, even in... More

Great location, away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre, but buses and cabs are cheap and frequent. Lovely pool and spa facilities, superb restaurant with fab views and reasonable menu. Staff work hard to please - it's what I'd call "a good effort for Ecuador". If you have a problem, and you raise it nicely, they definitely... More

Hotel Quito claims to have it all, in 4 star luxury, I think the classification needs reviewing. The level of service from the staff is appauling. Front desk - about 5 staff usually at the desk, more happy to talk amongst themselves then help you. We stayed as part of a group from a G Adventures tour, and I personally... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. For us it is very important the feedback from our guests so we have taken the necessary actions based on them. We take this opportunity to mention that the Hotel Quito has full laundry service for all guests, with lower prices than european and american Hotels. The Hotel... More

dinner service is quite slow, so allow plenty of time but breakfast is already set out and is great, very good way to start the day. Good location, i had a nice large room with lovely view. People staying on 6th floor, I think, just below restaurant, complained of noise until around 2pm so might be worth trying to avoid... More

The main problem with this hotel is that not all rooms are updated. My room was clean, but small, and dark, with bathroom appliances dating from the 1970s and carpet and furniture to match. The lobby is gorgeous and the pool looks lovely. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was good. There is no breakfast included and no... More

Fully paid 10 day stay ruined by robotic, party line staff, uninterested in ensuring that my son and I enjoy our stay in quito. Due to their own problem with my perfectly fine credit card, I was treated like a criminal, cut international phone service, forced to pay I before eating in breakfast with my son. No information in rooms... More

This hotel probably represents of the of best proposals price/quality in Quito. The hotel excellence comes from its panoramic restaurant (almost a Quito attraction), with excellent cuisine at reasonable prices. It has excellent outdoor pool (with warmed water system) and a reasonable equipped gym. Also it sauna and Jacuzzi fits very well on hotel proposals. The rooms are reasonably equipped,... More

This was a very nice place to start and end our couple weeks of adventure travel. Definitely a soft landing. The rooms are extremely clean, updated, and pretty. This may be an odd thing to highlight, but the soaps and lotions were the nicest smelling of anywhere we stayed. :) It's pretty international, so there's not a ton of "local... More
