Very good hotel in Quito, with wonderful views over the city from the upper floor restaurant and over Guapulo from the rooms. The breakfast is complete and very good. Not so far from historic center and Mariscal.

This hotel once won an award for top destination in Quito, my have things changed in the past three years. First off, it was an hour plus taxi ride from the airport with little traffic just to get to the hotel. Our view from the room was great, but all the rooms have a shared balcony with the rest of... Really loved this hotel. Huge room with balcony and great view. Fabulous breakfast. The restaurant was very reasonably priced and there are other good restaurants close by. A very cheap taxi fare will get you anywhere you want to go. Staff were very polite and helpful. Couldn't fault it and would recommend it to anyone.

Hi everyone. I run a business in Ecuador and just got back from a trip to Quito. I stayed at Hotel Quito from April 9 to April 12. My experience was not the best. These are the complaints I have: -while having a business breakfast at the buffet, I could not stand up and serve myself some orange juice because... More

Noisy generator stopping and starting near room, after a 26 hour flight really wanted some sleep. Room was also near lifts and conference room = extra noisy. Room nice, restaurant food great. Staff generally not helpful. Hotel had bussiness people, those transferring to Galapagos and wedding group. Noisy wedding all night till sun came up.

This hotel has an excellent location, and a BEAUTIFUL view of the city from the restaurant/bar. This hotel seems to be full of tourists in transit to/from the Galapagos, so it seems to book fully in odd waves. Due to large groups coming in, I got assigned to the casitas/bungalos on the far end of the hotel, which seemed like... More

Excellent location, friendly service, good sporting facilities and swimming pool, nice restaurant. Rooms at the front side are quite noisy due to heavy traffic. Plenty of restaurants, shops and coffee places in the surrounding.

This is a great hotel - while older, the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The pool and gym area of the hotel are really nice. The restaurant and bar are pricey, but the views are worth it.

The only great thing about this hotel is the restaurant view. The view was amazing. However, the service was awful in the restaurant and throughout the entire hotel. No one was there to give us towels for the pool and had to ask many people. There is no bar outside by the pool. I saw there was someone every now... More

Unless you are on a group tour, in which you do not have an option of staying elsewhere, I do not recommend this hotel. Hotel Quito clientele seems to be mostly from tour groups. It provides the bare essentials but is dated by several decades. Tour companies probably get decent rates from them but their regular rate is outrageous compare... More
