My best friend and I stayed at the Radisson for two, non-consecutive nights. We decided to "treat" ourselves to a night or two at a real hotel after staying at a nice hostel for a few nights and before we headed to a rural sustainable lodge a few hours away from Quito. We've both stayed at more luxurious hotels with... more

Typical chain business hotel. Free airport shuttle runs numerous times in the morning & late evening to coordinate with arriving/departing international flights. Otherwise it's only a $5 taxi ride of 10 minutes. Take the official yellow taxis which line up outside the airport & establish price before departure. No problem. Quito is a very small airport for a capital city... more

We stayed at the Hotel Raddison for two nights and while it was clean and comfortable it was nothing startling. The rooms were reasonable but the view was not worth opening the curtains for. In terms of being vegetarian Ecuador was quite good but the menu at the Radisson was terrible nad did not have much at all to offer... more

This is a perfectly lovely hotel with fantastic staff. No shortage of great and inexpensive retaurants nearby. The Bar was not often staffed, but people did show up if called upon. Breakfast was perfectly fine. Grocery store just down the street and a several inexpensive laundry facilities nearby. A handicrafts market is also just down the street, on the way... more

We spent two nights in te Radisson of Quito. The Hotel is far from the historical center but easy accessible by taxi that stay 24/24 front of the hotel. Rooms are large and have all convenience but they are a little bit old, the staff is very lazzy. The buffet breakfast is good and dinner is good too. There is... more

This hotel is pretty much as you would expect from one of the big chains. Everything is of a reasonably high standard in terms of furnishing and facilities. I did however want to make a couple of notes: The bar is really really expensive - and we only had hot chocolates and coffees! The beds are not doubles. We were... more

The Radisson Royal Quito was very clean, comfortable and friendly enough. The only problem was in ordering room service when the young man on the other end of the phone didn't speak enough english to get my meal completely correct. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise pleasant stay. Would go back again if in Quito. more

I made a reservation prepaid in full through Hotels and upon arrival at 11:30 pm, the front desk person, who had a terrible cold and kept making unhealthy noises with his nose, indicated that he had no record of my reservation and that I should contact Hotels for any complaint. Furthermore, that I should look for another hotel as they... more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. If you stay on the weekend you should take advantage of the weekend getaway package (offered on Radisson hotel website). It is important that you email guest services well in advance to book the free city tour included in the package as only one time was available to us and we had another... more
