Good location and the view was beautiful. Terrible noise at nights until the early morning hours. I couldnt sleep very well even tough I had the earplugs. I loved the breakfest which included a wide variety of fresh fruits. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

We stayed here with a tour group and it was good. They have a 24 hour restaurant attached and breakfast (included) starts at 5:30 so it is good if you are leaving early for day tours. Tea and coffee in the lobby all day. Clean and nice staff. Proximity to downtown restaurants and bars is excellent.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. My room was located on the 8th floor and had a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding mountains. My room was clean, bathroom was well stocked with necessities. This hotel has a small lobby area and a restaurant. It is within a short walk to many restaurants, bars and clubs.... More

We had a large, lovely corner room with great views of the city. Unfortunately, we could only really enjoy it during the day because it was so noisy at night. People shouting, car horns blowing, dogs barking - until at least 3am. Got very little sleep during our stay here. Not many of the front desk staff speak English, but... More

Front desk people not very accommodating. Rooms in the 10th and 11th floor are updated and nice. All others (1st to 9th) are from the 70's, (built in ashtrays in the bathroom, horrible showers, etc). Bellboy took 20 mins to bring up luggage. Horrible service and value.

Having come from a 1 week stay with a local family and then the hotel Eugenia which was awful I loved this place. Staff were so professional and friendly and the room felt like a little piece of heaven. Had a perfect view of cotopaxi from my window. Good breakfast selection. If you need a break between travelling, one or two... More

The rooms were spacious and they had a great breakfast selection. Overall the service was pretty good. They even had security guards at night in front of the hotel to make sure we were safe since it's wasn't safe to walk on the street at night.

Stay at the Rio Amazin... as we toured Quito. Welcomed with warm towels and tropical juice. The hotel is very modern and updated. The location has a lot of security presents. Our family always felt safe. The staff was ready to accommodate any of our needs. We had a beautiful view of the city. Would highly recommend. We stay on... More

A very average hotel. It felt quite sterile. The people at the desk were friendly.. As many of these review say, it is noisy from the street even from a high floor. Some good views depending upon height of room, but otherwise close to the ugly area of the street. It was awkward not having a safe in the room.... More

My husband and I stayed for five nights in between some trips in Ecuador. The hotel is very modern with beautiful decor. The rooms are just as beautifully decorated with some beautiful views of the city. The big plus for us was the sheer variety of foods at breakfast. They ranged from typical continental to Ecuadorian dishes which really set... More
