Survived two nights with my honey in room #410 at the Swissotel in Quito. I wonder if our agent who booked this room reads TripAdvisor because if I were him I would not have picked the Swissotel based on their TA reviews. I would suggest potential guests read all of the lower TA reviews (especially the 1s and 2s), because... More

My friends and I stayed in Swissotel Quito in early February 2015. We were at a conference. It was clean and comfortable. Friendly service. Good restaurants in hotel. Great shower with lots of hot water. Negatives were: no gift shop, no place to buy bottled water except room service or minibar which were expensive, the security system with cards you... More

Awesome staff, superior accommodations and excellent food! It was expensive, but the experience was totally worth it! The personnel are very service oriented and friendly. The rooms were exceptional. We spent 6 nights and slept well. We were very pampered!

Attended a conference at this facility; the service was very good -- not really a "foodie" destination but quite acceptable for a hotel. The real gem in service was the Executive Lounge and the staff there was outstanding in every way. Fernando anticipated our every need and directed the staff expeditiously and fulfilled our every need. The main dining room... More

We spent ten days at the Swissotel in Quito this month. As soon as we saw the massive displays of roses decorating the lobby we knew we were in for a special stay. We were led to our room by a staff member and despite the fact it was almost 3:00 in the morning, he carefully explained the features of... More

Perfect location. The city is beautiful and this hotel is the perfect place to stay in Quito. Great environment. The hotel has 24 hours front desk. Many restaurant are close to the hotel. Oldtown is 10 minutes by taxi.

We were here two nights to regroup and regain energy for the rest of the trip - a 12 day excursion through various ecosystems and environments, mostly in boutique hotels and haciendas, of Ecuador. The breakfast is enormous. The buses and crowds in the lobby can also be imposing as tour groups use this hotel frequently.

I stayed here while participating in a large tour group, and they accommodated us very nicely. The rooms were spacious and modern, the wi-fi was excellent, and the amenities were very good. It's nice to have restaurant options in the hotel (a Swiss one, a sports bar, fine dining, and a sushi bar), but it's also close to some authentic... More

As I stayed across from the Swissotel in the Radisson I wanted to eat in the typical Swiss restaurant in the basement of the hotel. Unfortunately they switched chefs or the regular chef was sick, because in the past it was great. But this time it was terrible. The food tasted nothing like Swiss food, the onion soup I had... We came from the USA to Quito for an International convention, and we were so glad we chose to stay at the SwissOtel. It's a lovely hotel with impeccable service. The staff is very attentive and they convey that it is a pleasure for them to serve you. We would definitely stay at a SwissOtel again.
