Awesome view from the top, fast wi-fi and ADSL internet, perfect breakfast with fresh blackberry juices and welcome cocktail for about 100$ per night. Loved it. more

My wife and I spent three weeks in Ecuador visiting the Galapagos, the Amazon, and the Andes highlands. The Swissotel was our "base" before and after each leg of the trip. It was a great place to relax and recharge our batteries before heading out again. We left whatever luggage we didn't need with them as we visited different parts... more

I stayed at the Swissotel for 4 nights, bracketing our Galapagos cruise. The hotel was wonderful! Our suite was very spacious, and was always clean and comfortable. The bed was absolutely amazing and the water pressure was great, which to me are the two most important things, since a room is primarily for sleeping. The front desk attendants were also... more

From the minute we walked into the lobby with its huge bouquets of roses, we knew this would be a delightful place. We stayed three nights. After a very long day of travel the bed with its Swiss bedding was inviting. The shower was strong and the water hot. Hair dryers were provided and with 110 electricity, no converters were... more

We stayed for three nights with a trip out of Quito in between. On both stays we were impressed with the service and also the variety of places to eat/drink within the hotel. The pool is excellent and a very nice place to relax. The rooms are a little bit dated but well appointed and immaculately clean. We also stayed... more

I stayed at the Swissotel for a week and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The bathroom are a little outdated but that is my only complaint. The service and friendliness of the hotel staff was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. Tried a few of the hotel restaurants. They were good... more

We stayed for 5 nights with a trip to Galapagos in the middle. The Japanese restaurant is superb but the "italian" buffet in the main restaurant was disappointing and lacking in atmosphere. Breakfast (buffet) was perfect for what we wanted. The rooms were also very good. Overall I'd say 4.5 stars - I've had better but nothing to complain about... more

Stayed here 3 nights in conjunction with a small group tour. Facilities and staff were fabulous. Really made to feel welcome. Rooms are average size, and very contemporary design. We had nice views of the city. Adjacent neighborhood is primarily business/residential, but there are a few good restaurants within an easy walk. The mariscal district (aka gringoland) is about 8-10... more

Quito Swissotel is a good hotel in general. However ,it is a bit old and i think needs to be renovated. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The outside pool is very small .There was restoration in the pool area and could not use the pool. The Amrita Spa is very nice but was quite crowded with the local people. The area is quite... more
