Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, where I managed to get a really good rate. The hotel location is good, about 5 mins walk from the Hilton on Av. Amazonas. Av Amazonas is fairly busy during the day, fairly quiet at night. I found a few people at night a little intimidating, but it's advisable to get a cab -... more

Nice business class hote, with lots of rooms, a bar, a casino all the amenities. We stayed here as part of a package deal for a trip to the Galapagos. Good value for the money paid. The breakfast here was good, and included some nice local cheese and yogurt. They start serving breakfast at 5am, which is great if you... more

Nice place to park after a hectic trip from Peru. I wouldn't use their Casino....just average. Food wasn't too bad either. There are several other eating places not too far from the hotel. Staff was friendly. On the whole, it was a nice stay. more

Overall a good hotel for the price we paid, I thought it was value for money actually. I would forget about trying to use any of the Casino facilities if I returned, they are pretty horrible, and they try to encourage you to go with free vouchers and then don't honour them. The room was nice and spacious, clean and... more

Were moved here from La Rabida which had provided us with terrible rooms. In contrast this was palatial. Checking in, internet access, bar, ATM machine with no charge were all very good. Good range of food for breakfast but as with many places, it is difficult to get a proper cup of tea. Concierge was very good at getting taxis. more

We stayed three nights in all in this hotel. The room was lovely, with fruit and chilled water to welcome us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Checking in was very swift as they realised we were tired after a long journey and they were sympathetic and helpful to our loss of luggage in transit (airline problems!) The location was... more

I guess if you are not part of a group you get the worst service. The hotel is well located, if somewhat seedy at night, clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast is decent, however, it took us 2 hours to check in.They claimed to have a problem with our reservation, even though I contacted Kati who sent a shuttle to the airport to pick... more

We stayed on 3 occasions during our tour. 2x 2nights and one last night. It is well located for the airport and our small tour group were looked after by Metropolitan Touring who were very slick and well organised so we had no wait at the front desk. Our first room on the 4th floor was teriffic - stereo, TV,... more

It was top notch in terms of cleanliness, amenities, attention, food (the breakfast buffet was great!), etc., but lacked any charm of the old city places (it felt like a typical 4-4.5 star hotel that you’ll find in any big city). more

We stayed here either side of a trip to Galapagos. The hotel itself is good, the rooms very comfortable and spacious (we were upgraded to a suite on one of our stays) with lovely balconies and good views of Quito. Breakfast is great, very tasty and good choice. However, the reception staff are terrible. We had to wait 30 mins... more
