When we arrived at the Alameda we were treated like royalty which was most welcomed after our less than wonderful visit to the Galápagos Islands. The hotel is conveniently located near the Quito Market (a must visit!), has a spacious lobby, good restaurant, great service and the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a long time. Most of the... We stayed here twice, for a total of three nights, in a lovely suite with a large sitting room, nice bedroom, bathroom, and tiny balcony on the seventh floor. The hotel is is a nice location and is quiet, but there is not great soundproofing between rooms. Amenities were good, breakfast was verging on excellent. Superior service, good, spacious lobby.... We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We found the rooms very spacious and the bathrooms large. The linens provided were of high quality and the rooms were immaculate. Bottled water was provided in the room. The room was also equipped with a safe in the closet which was convenient. We had breakfast each morning in the hotel and... More

Spacious rooms. Bathroom counter was small. No wash cloths. No bottled water provided, but you can get small bottles for free at the front desk. There is a large bottle in the room for $3.50, but that's way too expensive. Buy your own bottled water at local shops. The wifi was free and very good. The hotel is in a... More

V good room and service. Pity maintenance started drilling in what appeared to be the room next door at 5 am! Reported problem at 5.30 to be told finally it was another customer moving luggage around their room! I am a builder so I know what an SDS drill sounds like!

The hotel is located close to the centre of Quito, in a lively area with many shops, restaurants and cafes. Close to Park and a small market with local handicraft. We had a very comfortable two-room suite. There were electric kettle and kitchenware in the room. Everything was clean and tidy. Good feature air conditioning. Breakfast modest, but edible. All... As always Gate 1 provided an excellent tour. Our hotels, food, and guides were the best. I have taken numberous trips with Gate 1and have never been disappointed. The different hotel s during our stay were charming as was the interesting cities we visited. Off to Germany Christmas Market with Gate 1 then Iceland. Love this company.

Nice hotel, centrally located in Quito. Staff was very friendly and gave us an upgrade to a nice room. Breakfast was nice with a variety of choices. We had once dinner in the hotel which was fine even though we'd prefer to dine elsewhere. We would come back if we were in quito again.
