I stayed at the Quito JW Marriott on 2 separate occasions in June, 2009. The first prior to traveling to Otavalo and the 2nd after returning from the Galapagos. The hotel is typical of what you can expect from Marriott - excellent service and top-quality rooms. My room was on the 8th floor and looked out over the huge pool.... more

This was a near-perfect hotel experience and I would be very hard-pressed to find anything to criticize. The rooms are clean, the staff is prompt and helpful. Bell-boys are especially so. Their efficiency is beyond praise. The hotel is not far from major attractions in the city: a ten minutes taxi ride will take you to the Old Town area.... more

Rooms were exactly what you'd expect based on the name and what you see in the hotel's website. Reception staff was attentive and professional, restaurant and bar staff were friendlier. Food at La Hacienda was good, but nothing outstanding. There are enough excellent options a taxi ride away that this was not a problem. Ask for rooms that have a... more

The more you pay for a room the more they nickel and dime you. You have to pay for internet, they charge you $6.00 US for a bottle of water. The taxis and tours are triple what you can get outside the hotel. The rooms are nice and comfortable but getting old. They need to change the courtains and the... more

The last two nights of a two week stay in Ecuador and Galapagos Is. were culminated with a stay at this beautiful hotel. Stayed on the Executive Floor about 50 feet from the Executive Lounge. Beautiful room, Breakfast, Soda, Snacks, desserts and wireless internet were provided with the stay. Never could find a reason to leave. They do charge seven... more

During my stay at this hotel i discovered that Quito has some of the best hotels in Latin America. The service is great, the location is perfect, close to the old town and to the financial core, This hotel is amazing, from the building to the service. The pool and amenitties are great and Quito's wether is fabulous. more

We stayed here three times within a month on a pleasure trip to South America. Not only is it a lovely facility, the staff service was beyond outstanding. It is primarily oriented towards business travelers, but is used by Celebrity Cruises each weekend for their 90 passengers going to and from the Galapagos Islands, which was our situation. We then... more

The hotel is a beautiful property. The flowers in the lobby are amazing. Checking was fast and friendly. The executive floor is very nice with a beautiful view of the city. One I live the most was the bed. After all day in meetings it was great to have a nice sleep in the great bed. Room is very comfortable,... more
