My wife and I stayed at the JW Marriott during our 2 week trip to Ecuador. We went to the Galapagos and into the Andes Mountains and we ended up staying at the Marriott 3 different times on our trip. This hotel is superb. I am used to booking a "4 or 5 star" hotel in other countries and only... more

We stayed at the Hilton, Sheraton and Marriott in Quito. Of the three hotels, the Marriott was the best located and the most luxurious. The service is also top notch. it is a contrast from the dirty chaotic city outside. more

We stayed at the JW Marriott from 9/5-9/7, as part of our pre-cruise package to the Galapagos Islands through Celebrity, and then again on 9/14 as part of the post-cruise package. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff could not have been friendlier, and everything from the restaurants, to the bar, to the rooms themselves were just perfect. The hotel... more

The JW Marriott is a fantastic hotel which is comparable to any 4 or 5 star hotel in North America. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms feel like a suite of their own. That being said, it is incredibly expensive for South America and Quito itself and with these prices you will think you are in the US. I... more

Yep, this place is top notch. I managed to get sick on some local grub at one of the nearby eateries, so I spent most of my time in Ecuador locked up here. I can say with confidence you won't need anything here. The other reviews capture the fine points of this hotel. My only complaint, as is the case... more

The Marriott in Quito is by far the nicest hotel to stay at. The rooms are typical Marriott style. The restaraunts and bars are all very good. And the pool scene is among the best that I have ever stayed at. They also have a spa that is very reasonable (50 min massage for $50). I wouldn't stay anywhere else... more

I stayed at this Marriott with my wife and her family on the front and back end of a Galapagos trip. This was definitely one of the top Marriott hotels I've stayed in. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff was exceptionally helpful and (mostly) spoke English. The hotel is also located fairly close to a major eating... more

Granted, we got a bargain rate because of my husband's employer, but still, it's worth every penny. It was really a home away from home for us. The hotel is gorgeous - we absolutely loved the pool area. Even though Quito is kind of cold, the outdoor pool is heated like bathwater so you can always swim. The staff was... more

The JW Marriott www.marriott.com in Quito was our 1st destination in Ecuador as part of our 12 day visit. My family of four (teenage daughter of 13, and son of age 19) stayed at the Marriott while visiting Quito and the surrounding area. We were here for 5 nights and used our reward points for our stay. Everything at this... more

We had three nights total at this hotel as part of the Celebrity Xpedition package. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, helpful staff, large rooms with huge bathrooms and great views of Quito. We found everything comfortable and quiet, and we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Food in the restaurants was pretty good. Swimming pool and spa looked... more
