Out the door and into the fray. Street is full each evening with lots to do and see then ring the bell and you are back in a slice of quiet and serenity. Beds were very comfortable. Wifi non existent in our room but we sat in the hallway no problem. Breakfast attentively served and we enjoyed the atmosphere of... More

The hotel is in the historic city center close to many of the major sights you will want to take in when you are in Quito. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and nice. The one caution is to request/get a room that is away from the street. During the day they play music... More

We spent 2 nights at the beginning of our Galapagos & Ecuador trip. This hotel is very well located for walking and seeing the Old Town. Our beautiful spanish style room was large and very clean. The wood beams and walls painted with florals were period design. The well insulated windows were appreciated at night to reduce the street noise... More

We previously stayed at the La Casona de la Ronda last year when visiting the Galapagos. This year we returned to Quito for four nights and chose to stay here once more. We were just as impressed second time around. It is simply a beautiful small hotel in a great location, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The... More

We stayed in this hotel in Quito either side of our Galapagos tour arranged with Llama travel. We upgraded to stay here and it really is a lovely hotel - good, clean bathroom, two double beds and a nice lounge setting. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is fine. Although it was lovely, I'm not sure it was worth... More

La Casona is a small attractive hotel in the old part of town. Nice location but car access is tricky - had to wheel our suitcases up and down Calle Morales. Breakfast is a bit basic but the rooms are very good, large with excellent bathrooms. Staff are friendly, although their English is limited. Close to the sites of Quito... More

This place is really wonderful. The location in the city is convenient to lots of attractions. The beds are very comfortable. All of the facilities are first class. The staff goes above and beyond for any request or just to make one feel at home. The breakfast was good also. I give this place 5 stars.

This little hotel offered weary travelers a darling place to stay and rest up....staff were welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good, as was the service staff. We had an inside room, and noise was not a problem at all. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. This hotel is set in the middle of old town and... More

I spent five nights at La Casona in late February / early March 2014. I chose the hotel due to its location in the historical 'El Centro' region of Quito, as well as consistently good Trip Advisor reviews, and moderate pricing. My experience was very similar to that of others posted here. The staff speak a reasonable amount of English... More

Very good hotel with pleasant staff and relaxing environment. It was carnival time so the room we had on the street was a little noisy but only one evening. Close to a street with many restaurants but our stay was early in the week and most were shout for the two days.
