beautiful building on a perfect location in centro hisorico. Taste full amuses, perfect food made with love. Try the fritada! My friend had the langostinos. We shared the Guagua locro(soup) as a starter. Staff very professional. Nice wine list with enough choise. A little bit pricy.

We spent 7 nights here over the course of 3 weeks travelling round Ecuador - it provided a wonderful, luxurious contrast to the more rustic places we generally stayed elsewhere. (I dreamt of the luxurious bathroom in the heat of the rain forest!) The staff were very helpful especially when my husband was suffering from the altitude and they start... More

We loved to have spent a night there on our way to the Galapagos Island. I wish we had 2 nights to enjoy other attractions in Quito.Their tea-time is not to be missed. The people in Quito were very friendly.

The hotel is perfectly located in the Old Town of Quito. We stayed here one night after our tour of the Galapagos. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you are taken care of immediately by the exceptional staff. The hotel was once a private home, and the architecture is majestic and elegant. The dining room and solarium are... More

We had 2 nights in the Casa Gangotena before setting off on a Galapagos cruise and we could not have had a better start to our trip. We arrived late from Miami and after a lengthy ride in from Quito airport we were very tired. Check in was quick and sympathetic and our room nothing short of magnificent. The next... More

My husband an I spent three nights here at the start of our visit to South America. Beautiful hotel, full of stunning fresh flowers. We were very tired after our long flight from the UK, but the bedroom was extremely welcoming and comfortable. Fresh fruit was provided in the room every day. when the beds were turned down at night... More

This hotel is set in prime location facing Plaza San Francisco and has views across the historic old town from the roof. It's a close to the perfect location as you can get. The building has been restored to a really high level yet has retained al the period features that ensure this is the place to stay in Quito.... More

Superlative service made this hotel one of the loveliest I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. I only wish we had booked the rest of our stay in Quito at this hotel because the experience was worth it. This is a small boutique hotel that has about 33 nicely appointed rooms with large modern marble bathrooms which makes for... More

A quite oasis in the middle of the historic center this hotel will make it difficult to go back home. The service is exceptional and the afternoon tea not to be missed. Would highly recommend this hotel for families even when traveling you toddlers. A perfect place for a beautiful city.

Spent a couple of nights here on our honeymoon and oh my word what a treat! The hotel is old colonial-style charm with huge rooms and some of the most comfortable beds. The staff and concierge are charming and welcoming and the breakfast buffet is fantastic. The hotel is situated on Plaza de San Francisco, a large open square situated... More
