We stayed at Mia Leticia for 5 nights and had a great time. It is a great little B&B in the historical part of town. Carlos was great and helped us get taxis and town info and was right on top of it when my daughter was sick. Having tea ready for her every evening when we got back from... More

Stayed here for four nights. The hostel is on the edge of the relatively 'safe' area in Quito Old Town. There are prostitutes on the street corners day and night in this area but there are plenty of police around up until around 9pm and so you do feel safe. Just don't go out too late in Quito! The hostel... More

Thanks for your comments, we will take your criticism seriously. Maybe if there was a neglect by the owner, but this will change immediately. Because we really do enfacis in cleaning, but surely we must make improvements More

I stayed here for 3 days in December. It is a small, yet comfortable hostal. The evenings can be a little noisy, but that could be simply because we were there during Festivale. The breakfast was great. Just make sure they understand if you want an earlier breakfast before departure. The rooms are fine. Clean and neat. No lift....lots of... More

Mia Leticia was a lovely, friendly place with helpful staff who were happy to organise private lifts for us to and from the airport. It is close to the old quarter of Quito and while we did not feel entirely safe in the area around the hotel after dark it is conveniently close to a lot of the attractions. There... More

The staff here is outstanding, from day one, all the way until our last day (14 nights in total). Mónica, Johnny and Samuel were just superb! We established friendship with all three of them. We miss our daily breakfast and conversations with Mónica (and her tourist attractions suggestions as well). Johnny and Samuel are so service oriented that they even... More

The staff here were outstanding, from our late night arrival after a long bus ride, all the way until our send-off nine days later. We had only intended on staying three nights, but we enjoyed our accommodations as well as the City as a whole, that we extended our stay. The staff did not speak English, but with our limited... Due to my late arriving flight, I arrived close to midnight at the hostel. The doors had been locked for security purposes but the staff was expecting me. After paying for my 3 nights stay after signing in, my bags were happily carried up the stairs for me. The breakfast is wholesome and served with typical Ecuadorian hospitality - smiling... More

Great location in old Quito, very nice and helpful staff. Pretty interior courtyard where decent if unexciting breakfast is served, but like most such places the sound travels all too well to all the rooms facing it. Bring earplugs! Our room was rather dark, tatty carpet, strange shower in a closet. Hot water was iffy and they had no drinking... More

Nice place to stay in old quito, walking distance to all the old quito attractions. Showers hot with plentiful water (needed a bit of time to get started the first time), beds comfortable. Nice breakfast included with colombian coffee. Free wifi throughout. Rooms simple, building is old (but thats part of charm!). Thin walls, sound does travel a little. If... More

Mia Leticia was our introduction to Ecuador and Quito. We really enjoyed the wooden beams and plants in the covered patio. The rooms where basic but had the charm and authenticity that will help you feel you're in Quito. Breakfasts were very nice made to order. We walked the whole city from this location and found it to be close... More
