The hotel is a traditional colonial house. All rooms are individually furnished and include some local details (materials etc.) from Ecuador. Service personnel is available around the clock and very friendly and helpful. Coffee, tea and chocolate are served all day at the hotel's roof garden. Plaza Foch offering a wide range of restaurants is very close.

This is a lovely small hotel. We had the Inca room which has pleasant decor and a nice balcony. It is on the first floor (ie one above the ground floor). This is a quiet hotel, has free wifi, nice shower and twin handbasins. Staff were very helpful with maps and suggestions as to where to go, how to identify... More

We stayed three nights at this hotel as a change from a chain hotel. The hotel itself was very nice and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. However, it was missing an x-factor. We had booked a room on the net that turned out to have few windows and a staff walkway just outside. It would have been useful for... More

We loved our six nights in the Anahi Boutique Hotel. We used this property as we traveled to the Galapagos, Mindo and the Cotapaxi area. Each time we returned we were greeted by the personnel and made to feel welcome. The rooms are spacious and many have balconies. They are each uniquely decorated with a different theme. We stayed in... More

16 room hotel finished in 2010. All rooms nicely designed and different. Rooms on west side have view of dormant volcanos. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice full breakfasts, eggs cooked to order. Close to the Mariscal district. About a 15 minute walk to old city. At $110-130/night it is a good value. The place has a sense of style to... More

Small 16 rooms hotel, with really friendly personnel. They really try their best. The breakfast was not fully what I would like, but adequate. Small mistakes were clearly due to inexperience. Some of the staff seemed to be trainees although I am not sure of it.

Not only were the rooms totally spacious and comfortable and the restaurant delicious, but the service we received from Samantha at the front desk was well and truly above and beyond her role. Not only did she always give us friendly advice with a smile, but she even took us to the pharmacy at night as our interpreter when my... More

We just got back from 5 nights at Anahi. Some of the best service we have ever had - everyone working there was incredibly friendly and so willing to help out however they could. We stayed in room 15 on the 3rd floor, which was incredibly spacious. We had actually booked another room, but we ended up happy we got... More

This hotel was terrific in most respects - the only slight negative being its distance from town, but that has advantages as well (quiet area). Taxis are plentiful, safe, and inexpensive so this really isn't much of a drawback. We had room 11, the Etnos room, beautifully decorated with woodwork from a local artist. The staff were extremely helpful in... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Two nights upon arrival in Ecuador and another night between our time in the jungle and Galapagos. Hotel is nicely decorated, clean and with a wonderful staff. The location in the New Town area is good as it is close to the restaurants but far enough away that it is fairly quiet.... More
