I spend 3 nights with my friend in a small house what nearly cost 100$ per night, apart from the bathroom the house was not cleaned. The place has a fantastic view and the tours were ok, but It was no warm place in the whole compound apart from the hot tube, until the late afternoon where the put on... More

The drive in along the bumpy road showed the beauty of what was to come as the landscape changed from city to rural and the vegetation changed as well. The Secret Garden is tucked away on a hillside overlooking Cotopaxi and surrounded by other mountains. Its location is well worth the journey and the money as it is a little... More

This place is AMAZING! Such an awesome location for chilling out. We stayed in the 8 bed dorm, beds great and the indoor wood fire heater was a nice touch! The food was really nice, portion sizes could be larger! And the coffee excellent! We did the horse ridding, well worth the cash! No wifi which is a welcome relief.... More

Many people will be put off by the price but I can confidently say that it is worth it. Three hearty meals included with a changing breakfast every morning and unlimited banana cake, bananas, tea and coffee. Three gorgeous dogs to entertain you and a stunning view over Cotopaxi from almost every window. Hammocks to relax on and a choice... More

We had a lovely few days here and met some nice people. This seems to be the main attraction - family style dinners and people exchanging stories, a nice way to spend a few days if you're travelling. But overall the few days were very expensive, paying $80 per night for our cabana and $30 per person for activities (e.g.... More

The long bumpy drive and a sore bum which seems like forever is all worth it when you reach Secret Garden, Cotopaxi. The beautiful 3 llamas and the ever so gorgeous and friendly cow as you drive up the driveway. You are greeted by daisy, mash (sausage dogs) & milo the Dalmatian. As an extreme animal lover they had me... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Secret Garden Cotopaxi. If you just need a time out from travelling, enjoy reading a book by the fire or playing some cards with other travellers. It was a nice change not having any internet and actually interacting in the communal and cosy lounge room (there is a computer with internet for emergencies). If... More

This place is amazing as everyone else has said. The staff are brilliant, Kyle, Jamie and Bobby were so welcoming and supportive on the hikes. The manager at the time was also really helpful, I've forgotten his name but he has great curly red hair, unforgettable. They've completely mastered the setup of the place, I was hesitant to go initially... More
