Wonderful hostel with good food, clean rooms, and an excellent roof terrace. This is a great hostel to meet people and socialize as they turn off wifi at 6pm on the terrace to encourage meeting new friends. This defiantly happens-and I ran into some of the same people as I continued south. Good hot showers.

Fantastic stay, location is amazing overlooking Cotopaxi. Rooms are very comfortable. Food was ok, could have been a little bit better but this was the only downside. Overall well worth a visit for 2-3 nights.

After travelling for 4 months around Central and South America we found Secret Garden Cotopaxi. We heard about this place from other travellers. Everyone highly recommended this place. So our expectations where super high when we arrived. It was even better than we hoped. The hostel lies in the most beautiful sorroundings with Cotopaxi right in front. The hostels garden... More

I spend 3 nights with my friend in a small house what nearly cost 100$ per night, apart from the bathroom the house was not cleaned. The place has a fantastic view and the tours were ok, but It was no warm place in the whole compound apart from the hot tube, until the late afternoon where the put on... More

The drive in along the bumpy road showed the beauty of what was to come as the landscape changed from city to rural and the vegetation changed as well. The Secret Garden is tucked away on a hillside overlooking Cotopaxi and surrounded by other mountains. Its location is well worth the journey and the money as it is a little... More

This place is AMAZING! Such an awesome location for chilling out. We stayed in the 8 bed dorm, beds great and the indoor wood fire heater was a nice touch! The food was really nice, portion sizes could be larger! And the coffee excellent! We did the horse ridding, well worth the cash! No wifi which is a welcome relief.... More

Many people will be put off by the price but I can confidently say that it is worth it. Three hearty meals included with a changing breakfast every morning and unlimited banana cake, bananas, tea and coffee. Three gorgeous dogs to entertain you and a stunning view over Cotopaxi from almost every window. Hammocks to relax on and a choice... More

We had a lovely few days here and met some nice people. This seems to be the main attraction - family style dinners and people exchanging stories, a nice way to spend a few days if you're travelling. But overall the few days were very expensive, paying $80 per night for our cabana and $30 per person for activities (e.g.... More
