Large dorms, very clean. Bunk Beds don't have ladders! Excellent wifi - very fast and reliable all the time. Not a very sociable hostel - small bar area but weren't many people there. Had a tv room with working DVDs which was nice. Kitchen well equipped and clean.

A nice, clean place with friendly staff and guests. In our experience the hostel is often full, so it is a good idea to call ahead. We weren't the only ones to return more than once during our trip to Ecuador. Sandra, the owner, is helpful, kind, generous and always up for a chat and glass of wine.

We were very disappointed with this hostel. From all the reviews we expected a great social atmosphere, vibe, and room. We stayed in a private room which was very small, not really a problem for us but their marketing and reviews mentioned spacious and that they weren't. Our biggest turn off was the fact that they did not allow any... More

There is no hype about the hostel just reviews left by other travelers. To imply that you have traveled extensively and others who have left more favorable reviews have not is beyond pretentious and inappropriate. You simply failed to do your homework to find a party hostel and now we are to blame. It is disheartening to read hostel reviews... More

After two days of buses we rocked up at this place without a reservation, and although it was nearly booked out, Sandra had two beds left for the night and made us feel super welcome. She talked us through everything we needed to know about the Hostel, what to see and where to go in Quito (also where not to... More

When I arrived at Hostel Revolution after a long bus ride it was like walking into a cozy apartment of friends. The staff was nice and took time to know my name and explain the city and it's attractions to me. There are hot showers, a huge kitchen with every gadget you could want in it, and in walking distance... More

The hostel is in a great location just between old and new town. Close to parks and a big bus station which makes it easy to get around the city. It was very clean and wifi works well in most rooms and ok even on the roof terrace. It's very clean and there is a great kitchen! I highly recommend... More

I really enjoyed my time at Hostel Revolution. Having also stayed at the Secret Garden hostel, I found Hostel Revolution more hospitable and comfortable (and cheaper!). The owner is especially helpful in planning activities around Quito and the kitchen is one of the best I've used in 5 months of travelling. If you're after a homy and friendly hostel, Revolution... My friend and I used Hostel Revolution as a home base while traveling around Ecuador, after it was recommended to us by a friend we met while traveling. All the staff are amazing, so helpful with any question you have. The rooms are great, always clean, tidy and spacious. Great kitchen, tv room and common area. This is a smaller... More

This hostel is in the Historical Centre of Quito but no more than twenty minutes walk from La Mariscal if you want to party. Sandra, the owner/manager was so helpful with any questions about getting around the city and what to see and do. Although there is no bar here there is a lovely communal area and cheap beer is...
