Clean, comfortable and well situated in the historic district. Beds were comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. Good selection for breakfast with eggs cooked to order and wonderful fresh fruit.

Our first visit to Plaza Sucre was exquisite. The room was sumptuous, very comfortable, beautifully furnished. The hosts were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was more than we expected - a huge variety of baked goods, fruit, yogurt, all good.

The Booking.com description says that this hotel is "sound proofed" and that "each room has a balcony". NOT TRUE Only a handful of the many rooms have balconies. I reserved a standard double which was supposed to have a balcony, and they gave me a room without a window of any description:more like a prison cell. The balcony room they... More

Most rooms appear not to have outside balconies/windows, instead windows look onto a balcony above the inner courtyard. Good size rooms, high pressure hot shower, buffet breakfast on the top floor with nice view, reception staff helpful and the hotel is in a quiet street within walking distance of several restaurants, many bars/small cafes and most of the Old Town... When arriving at this hotel, we were surprised after entering through the iron door into the hotel. There is a inner courtyard with the reception and if you select a room with balcony, don't worry that the whole hotel has a kind of balcony on all floors. This balcony is not a balcony which is outside and will give you... More

I stayed 7 days in this hotel, from which 5 I had to have shower with cold water. Every day we complained and asked for their support to fix it or to change rooms but they did not solve the problem, causing a lot of stress. We saw other tourists complaining of the same problem. Moreover, the location is very... More

We booked Hotel Boutique Plaza Sucre through booking.com for almost a week this past Christmas and New Year's holidays. The voucher I received and printed said especifically we had booked a room with balcony, when getting there we didn't have that and they claimed the balcony is optional and you can have that only when the hotel has rooms with... The room was nice and plenty big. We had a little balcony over the street. The hotel feels sort of large and cold to me. Our biggest complaint was the wifi. It just wouldn't work in our room - we had to go to lobby to book our next hotel. The breakfast was quite good -- one of the best... More

The hotel was attractive inside, the bed comfortable, the room clean. The staff were helpful, happy not to accept advance payment as my Expedia booking email hadn't appeared with its discounted price. The breakfast was reasonably good, with a nice view at the top of the hotel. I hadn't read the security concerns in advance, but kept my valuables with... More
