The night we stayed we had asked for a heater since it was a little cold in the room and the front desk attendent said that it was not possible at the moment. Although when we first walked in we saw him handing a little heater to another guest. The. The next day we went to la mitad del mundo... More

Very well located! safe area and only 5 minutes away from the Plaza Foch which by the way is good not to live in that area itself because of the noise, very friendly stuff and very efficient too, and the facility of having a breakfast right there is great!

I'm staying here before and after I visit Galápagos Islands through Lead Adventures. They offer airport pick up/drop off and that was a quiet ride as the drive didn't speak English. I arrived at hotel andino around 11pm after over a day of traveling, so I was quite tired. It seems safe, as you have to buzz the owner, and... More

This hotel was right across from my homestay in Quito, so when I left there, it was a natural choice--location convenient to the Mariscal but far enough away so there is no traffic noise. The value was good, $35 for 2 people including breakfast and taxes, and the room was adequate with good water pressure and hot water in the... More

Miguel & his staff are very accomodating. The kitchen makes the best freshly squeezed juice in Ecuador. Although it is very basic, the rooms are clean & the showers were great !!! Very good bang for your buck. We used Hotel Andino 3 separate nights as our base from which to explore different parts of Ecuador.

Location: The Hotel Andino is located in a side street close to "the mariscal" - (the bar and disco area) in the middle of quito. Close by you can find a big supermarket (supermaxi), a internet / call shop, and a small bakery. Walking to the center of mariscal is no problem (500 m) - but still in the evening... More

The first night we got to Quito, we tried to stay here but it was full. The owner is literally the sweetest man alive. He called a bunch of hostels for us and helped us find one with a room. He even offered to let us pitch a tent in the living room area. We ended up coming back here... More

This family-run hotel doesn't promise much, but it delivers much more than promised. The location is near the Mariscal, but is actually a few blocks away in a residential area adjacent to a business and hospital district. I consider this a good thing if you're over the age of about 23, because the Mariscal is a party spot favored by... More

We stayed here two nights in December 2013. We had a small room with no chair or table and ensuite shower with hot water. The hotel is near the Mariscal, the Swiss Hotel and a block away from the Policia Nacional station, which was sort of reassuring given that the hotel is locked and barred 24/7. You have to ring... We stayed in Andino Hotel for 4 nights during July 2013, and enjoyed it very much !! The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of Mariscal Sucre neighborhood. We had a big room, with nice wooden floor and a homey feel. Good shower and breakfast too. But most of all we enjoyed the great hospitality of the owner -... More
