This location was recommended by International Living folks. I contacted Miguel to arrange transportation as we were arriving at 10:00pm. The driver was there on time very polite and helpful. Once at Hotel Andino, we were treated very well. Miguel went out of his way to assist us in making the most out of our stay in Quito. He even... More

Pro: Manager speaks good English (only the mgr). He is generally around and willing to help with questions and guidance. Breakfast is included in the room cost and very basic (certainly nothing special). Don't expect this breakfast to hold you till noon. Hotels location is pretty good. About 4 blocks from the activity in Mariscal District. There is a Super-maxi... More

Hotel is considered pretty safe & in good location. Hotel staffs all very friendly & helpful especialły Miguel. He's very attentive, would make sure we had a good stay there & helped us with anything he could. Each room is different & with unique decor & design. Our bathroom was small but reasonably clean. However, we didnt use their bath... More

In all my years of traveling I have never stayed at a better budget hotel. It had everything you look for in an inexpensive hotel: nice, clean, rooms, comfortable beds, good bathrooms with plenty of hot water, strong and consistent wifi, and good soundproofing. It went beyond the minimum in many ways: the staffers are remarkably friendly and helpful. They... More

The Hotel Andino is our favorite stop every time we visit Quito. Centrally located in a safe neighborhood, the staff welcomes you like family. The breakfast is especially delightful--a full breakfast with fresh fruit juice, fresh fruit, eggs fixed how you like them, delicious Ecuadorian coffee, and delicious bakery breads and jams. If you have a pet, it will be... More

The staff make this place a winner. The hotel itself is on a quiet street, walking distance to many good restaurants. The location is close to the ritzy González Suarez neighborhood and not far from the Mariscal action. The rooms are good enough but it is not fancy. Breakfast is included and usually includes coffee, tea, fresh juice, a croissant/bread,... More

A group of 17 of us went recently on an expedition, intending to stay at Hotel Andino for only 1 night but after such a good experience we booked another 4 nights throughout the duration of our 1 month expedition. The owner, Miguel, as well as the other staff members were lovely, approachable and helped us greatly with anything we... More

The people here are really nice and helpful, even if some of them don't speak English they will try their best. Miguel the owner is fluent and really very helpful and always happy! The rooms were decent with nice beds and showers, nothing to complain about. Would definitely stay again

A friend and I happened upon Hotel Andino last November after an all-night bus ride from Manabi. The hotel is conveniently located near another friend's home, so we rang the bell and asked for availability. There was only one room, but it had three beds and was tucked in the back like a little apartment! The price was right for... More

We stayed 5 nights and were very happy with the facility, staff and service. The room was clean and very quiet and the staff very accommodating. The breakfasts were also very good. We would be happy to stay here again. Economy budget travel with good service. Several of the staff speak a little English and try to be very helpful.... More
