I like the décor and feel of the 300-year old structure but my spouse lamented the lack of Formica so we are divided on this one. The basics were all fine--good shower, reading lights, bed, breakfast. Note that the breakfast is not a buffet but served eggs-in-your-choice of style (there are other options if you don't want eggs), a very... More

This is a B&B rather than a full service hotel, set in a 300 year old house close to Plaza Foch. There are about 12 rooms. We had one at the back which was quiet and later one at the front which was quite a bit noisier. The breakfast is made to order consisting of fruit, eggs or granola or... More

Stay in Casa Foch for 3 nights. I book it because it is in Mariscal, close to everything since I wanted to find a last minute deal to the Galapagos islands and most of agencies are in that area. The hotel is really pretty, clean, spacious rooms, on and off hot water, good breakfast, one block from plaza Foch and... More

A refuge from the hustle and bustle of Gringolandia just outside our door. Breakfast was delicious - bowl of fresh fruit, toast with fresh preserves, coffee, and your choice of eggs, musceli or crepes with honey. Very helpful staff. Room was very comfortable. Building is beautifully restored.

We stayed at casa Foch for two nights on arrival to Quito & were impressed with the staff at Foch. Close to plaza Foch, unfortunately opposite a lively club, so some nights were a little noisy. On balance this was outweighed by the positive qualities of the hotel so we did book to stay on a couple of occasions, between... More

I recently returned from Quito where I stayed at the Marriott (because this is what my cruise package to the Galapagos included)...and it was nice, but for a touch of something local, I went exploring. Casa Foch is on a quiet street within a 10 minute walk of the Marriott and prices range from $50-100 per night, and the property... More

Stayed here at 2 differnet times during our trip. The room are all diffrent in decoration. All with butiful furniture and paintings. The hotel is in an old colonial buildning in the center of the Young and hip area, so there is noisy. Breakfast is really good, served al a carte. It would earned a 5 star if it wasn´t... More

We came here twice as a stop in Quito between different jtrips in the country. The hotel has a tasteful design and the rooms are spacious and most rooms have balconies. The breakfast is great, so a good hotel to stay in the heart of the meriscal. Restaurants and bars are at walking distance. Although meriscal (el norte or new... More

The hotel has a great location, which also makes it a bit noisy. The staff was friendly and the room is spacious, nice and clean. However, no matter which time of the day we tried to take a shower the water was cold. They said that they are turning off the heater in the night since it is noisy but... More

Hotel Casa Foch is a very charming, lovely place to stay in Quito, Ecuador. Upon our (late) arrival, we were enthusiastically greeted by a young man whose name is sadly escaping my mind. The room my boyfriend and I received was very clean and decorated very nicely. Even though we were thousands of miles away from the States, Casa Foch... More
