We stayed at this hotel for a few days between a trip to the Galapagos Islands and A birding trip in the cloud forest of Ecuador. The room was very spacious with a nice sitting room and kitchenette separate from the bedroom. The location is $5 cab ride to downtown Quito and the are some nice restaurants nearby. We also... More

Booked as a business hotel within walking distance to a very small exhibition facility at Carolina park the hotel prooved to be not only a very good accomodation but also caring in terms of office services performed by the caring staff. Breakfast has space for improvement. Felt safe here.

Lovely little apartment with nice bedrooms, living room and small kitchen. We were there over Christmas and received a bag with little treats with the hotel. Staff also very accommodating re. our various requests. Only negative was that the beds were very hard, but that seemed to be common in Ecuador. Breakfast could have been a little better as well.

I stayed 5 nights. The staff here are amazing, its a pity they do not have a system for lost property. I left my camera charger plugged into the wall. i checked out at noon as required, but left my luggage at the hotel, and came back at 3 and spent an hour in their business centre. (The internet here... More

The hotel was very clean, all of staff I had dealing with were great and very professional, lots of hot water, good location and close to a mall with lots of eating places. Only negative, some street noise, you will hear car alarms, music and such but not real bad for if i go back to Quito i plan on... More

I guessing the plethora of glowing reviews about this place are due to it being difficult to find a quieter out of the way option in South American cities, but its not quiet. Sure it doesn't suffer the horn tooting, belching buses and street noise of Centro Historico but over our three nights we suffered several repeated car alarm soundings,... More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and it was just wonderful. We have been touring South America for a month, and what a treat to get home comforts in your suite. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk away for the city tour start point. There is also a large mall at the start point. The hotel... More

This place was very good. The room was comfortable and suitable for travelers who are staying a few days, as there is a refrigerator and kitchen. The breakfast was excellent, with a nice selection of hot and cold entrees, and two rooms for eating, one with local Spanish-language TV, and one with English-speaking channels. The lobby is a very tiny... More

We were looking for a place for two couples for a few nights in between trips to Galapagos and Amazon, and before flying back home. Two bedroom suites have central living area with small kitchenette (fridge, microwave) and dining area. Like all places in Quito, noise coming up from the street can be loud. But fortunately Lugano is on a... More

First of all, Quito is a big city; so, no matter where you stay, you'll have to take a taxi to go anywhere, and the whole town is an hour taxi ride from the airport. Having said that, location wise, we couldn't have picked a better place than Lugano Suites, as it's located in a quieter and more residential neighborhood... More
