We stayed at Casa Aliso for 2 nights as our home base while we explored Quito prior to leaving for the Amazon. The hotel is nicely appointed and very charming. We had a large room up on the second floor and it was very comfortable for our family of 3. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with... More

Casa Aliso is a little gem, a boutique Quito hotel in a good location. The hotel has just 10 rooms, and as far as we know all are slightly different in style - the hotel itself says the rooms are Classic decor with a modern twist & we'd totally agree. The hotel staff are absolutely charming & couldn't be more... More

It is a small hotel of 10 rooms. People are very helpful and accommodating. Lovely breakfast in the morning and tea in the afternoon. Large rooms and very quiet. This was a Colonial building that was renovated not too long ago. So it has the charm of the old but the amenities of the new. Although it is not in... More

Stayed a couple of days after the Galapagos. We had also stayed in the old part of Quito so this was great to explore the newer areas and over to Guapulo. Its well located with 10 rooms. Ask for a ground room with patio doors that open out on to the back grassy courtyard. Comfy and clean. Breakfast was relatively... More

The hotel is nice and cosy but so many things to fix: leaking toilette, some room do not have same TV stations, non working safe box....all shows that control and standards are missing. But late check out free of charge was a great compensation.

This place is a conversion of a large house built in the 1930s into a 10 room hotel. It is a block from the Spanish Embassy in a mixed residential/office area with many restaurants within walking distance. There is an Italian restaurant next door and 2 Ecuadorian cuisine places within a 5 minute walk. While staff is small, service is... More

I was lucky enough to stay here on two separate occasions while visiting Ecuador last October/November. Lovely hotel, very helpful staff and the comfiest beds I slept in on my travels. The night I arrived, when severely jet lagged, I was met by the friendliest receptionist who helped me with my luggage and the wifi connection on my phone. They... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night after arriving on the late American flight from Miami. We stayed only that night. The night clerk welcomed us graciously in English, took our bag upstairs to our room, and offered to make us coffee and toast at 6:00 A.M. as we were being picked up early, and he... More

Home away from Home! The staff was perfect in every way! My husband and I stayed 2 nights and loved every minute of it. They held our luggage while we went to Banos for 2 days. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. We had a midnight flight for home and they let us keep our room at... More

This amazing little family run hotel is a must for visitors to Quito. The accommdation is excellent, the breakfast is really good and the staff are wonderful. We stayed for 2 nights then went to Cuenca for a few days and then returned to Casa Aliso - it was like coming home. We later joined an organised group at the... More
