My wife, daughter and I had a complicated multi-site holiday in Ecuador planned and stayed at Casa Aliso on three separate occasions. We also stored suitcases there while we were on trips. We loved it! It is charming and peaceful. We always looked forward to returning to this place after a week's trip or a day's sightseeing in Quito. The... More

This is a charming hotel in a quiet area of the big city. We had a very nice garden room on the main floor comfortable bed and hot water.Though being a boutique hotel the rooms are rather small, well with our luggage it seemed that way ! .Don't forget where your room as there are no numbers on the doors!... The moment you walk through the doors at Casa Aliso, any stress that you experienced from spending the day in busy Quito disappears. The hotel is a small boutique establishment with only ten rooms and several cosy sitting areas where you can enjoy a little solitude while reading or enjoying afternoon teaThe staff was very helpful, from accompanying me to... After flying and travelling for over 24 hours (not to mention lost luggage!) the Casa Aliso offered us a warm welcome. Lots of historic charm, good breakfast, an afternoon tea hour and helpful staff. Rooms were clean, wifi great and the hotel was located in walking distance to a few good restaurants. (Quick tip - If you are going to... More

This beautiful boutique hotel is easily passed by as the frontage is quite insignificant but once inside you are amazed at the beautiful furnishings, the peace and tranquility. as we travelled around Ecuador, we used this as our stop over in Quito, so experienced 3 different bedrooms, each one was most comfortable, spotlessly clean and lovely crisp linen. The breakfast... More

This hotel is in a quiet residential part of Quito. It is a good taxi ride from Old Quito and other attractions. Having said that it is a good place to stay, and there a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. There is one next door, but didn't use. So cannot comment. The hotel itself is secure, and the... More

Our stay in Quito after visiting the Galapagos was all the better because of staying at Casa Aliso. This is a beautiful place which is enhanced by the attentive, knowledgeable staff. Our Adventure Life person suggested Casa Aliso and it really was perfect for spending one day in Quito before our flight home. My partner had altitude sickness and the... More

My wife and I used the Casa Aliso Hotel as our base between our trip to the Galapagos; it's a small hotel formerly a private home, very cosy rooms & lovely decorated. The staff were exceptional, our stay was during an election so no wine was been served in the local restaurants, no worries we were looked after by the... More

lovely hotel in quiet street. Staff very friendly and helpful. good value for money. Originally a private home it has maintained a sense of this. Lots of relaxing public areas to sit in and enjoy the fire places. Small art gallery around the corner. different fruit juice every day and breakfast included freshly made rolls
