This is a paradise which makes you feel like coming home at the end of a long day. The entire place is quaint, cozy and comfortable. each afternoon there is tea/cookies & a roaring fire (made by Carlos). the beds are comfortable and rooms extremely clean (thanks Zanda) & welcoming. The staff were the best reencountered in 2 months of... More

lovely hotel in quiet street. Staff very friendly and helpful. good value for money. Originally a private home it has maintained a sense of this. Lots of relaxing public areas to sit in and enjoy the fire places. Small art gallery around the corner. different fruit juice every day and breakfast included freshly made rolls

Referred by Adventure Life for our time in Quito before a week in the Galapagos Island, Casa Aliso was perfect.... very clean room and bath, homey atmosphere with comfortable living room for sharing time with fellow travelers, extremely helpful staff, nice breakfast every day with custom omelets, fresh pastries and fruit. We found out too late that we could buy... More

After a long flight from the UK we received a very warm welcome at the hotel. The rooms are excellent, very clean . The altitude caused my husband a bit of a problem during the night and the staff were great. Breakfast was very very good. We can not recommend this hotel highly enough

I would like to echo the sentiments of BlfoTrvir. I also was misled by the $85 quote, which turned out to be $170 per night. I specifically asked for the rate for a double and, like the other traveller, didn't see the per person comment. It was too late to find another hotel. In spite of back-and-forth emails, upon arrival... More

There were many things we really loved about Casa Aliso. We booked there on short notice, and they were very accommodating. They sent someone to pick us up at the airport, no extra charge. The hotel was in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It was beautifully and comfortably appointed. The staff members were extremely nice and friendly. The room opened up... More

After traveling through the Galapagos and the Amazon for over two weeks, it felt as if we had walked into home when we arrived here. The hotel itself as well as the staff were warm and inviting. Quito is such a large city that it's hard to say what an ideal location is. The staff always had recommendations for us... More

I just returned from a very pleasant stay at Casa Aliso. I spent two nights there on my way to the Galápagos Islands and three nights after the Galapagos. Everyone on the staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful. My first day I was quite ill with altitude sickness and the staff went out of their way to try and make... More

Chose Casa Alisa on the recommendation of Journey Latin America. As per all their other recommendations, it was spot on. Wonderful, warm, friendly, charming, high quality small hotel. After the long flight from Europe, i had been tempted to recover in an anonymous chain hotel. So pleased we didn't. So many good things - all reported by other reviewers -... More

To say Casa Aliso was accommodating is perhaps an understatement. From our room to the common areas to the hotel's overall look and feel, it was a wonderful experience. The staff was so attentive with everything from our amazing daily breakfast (eggs made to order) to making dinner bookings to arranging for transportation - they were fantastic. While the hotel...
